Fun little restaurant. My first Ethiopian so I can’t compare it to anything but we got the sampler for 2 and my wife was impressed and has had the food in the past. I did enjoy the food a lot.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free flat bread is available.
Overall Thoughts: Although the food was flavorful and delicious, I deducted one star because my friend and I both experienced some stomach pain the day after eating here for dinner. Hopefully it’s just a one-off thing!! Otherwise, the staff here were really sweet and friendly, and the interior felt cute and homey. I have visited this family-run restaurant several times and it is my go to spot. I come to this restaurant over others because of its no-frills authenticity; the tsom (vegan) dishes are perfectly seasoned and the variety of tibs (beef or lamb, drier or saucier) are well made and flavorful. You can't go wrong with the doro wot or kitfo either. Also, one of the few spots I know of where you can ask and get is 100% teff enjera (but you got to ask).
