I've been looking forward to trying this restaurants menu items. yesterday was only the 1st, for sure. I had a shrimp po boy, perfect, packed with shrimp, just the right sauces, really good. I took home a container of their vegan lentil soup which is better than my lentil soup. that's not a small thing. beautifully balanced flavor, really delicious. I can't wait to go back and try everything else.
Great food, comfortable atmosphere and AMAZING staff. A must try!!!!

Based on reviews, Krewe is a cute, casual neighborhood spot offering Cajun classics. The ambiance is lovely and the music is cool. The food is fantastic, with dishes like Cajun blackened catfish with okra, crab cake sandwich, chargrilled oysters, barbecue shrimp, gumbo, collard greens, cornbread, catfish served over grits, blackened tofu bowl, shrimp etouffee, and jambalaya. The grits fries are fantastic, especially with the remoulade dipping sauce. The bread pudding (bananas foster style) and beignets for dessert are ridiculously good. A passionfruit-mint-lemonade-tea special beverage is refreshing and well balanced. The restaurant is BYOB. Service from Daniel is friendly, helpful, and top notch, making diners feel like family. Every bite is excellent.
