I meant to write a review after my first visit and after my second I knew I couldn’t put it off any longer. Highly recommend the barbecue shrimp - I could drink the delicious savory sauce straight up. Make sure to mop up every bit with the bread. The first time we ordered it we only got one. For our second visit, my boyfriend and I each ordered one for ourselves I wasn’t a fan of the chargrilled oysters and the crawfish fritters did seem to be lacking in...
You gotta try this spot! Decided to mix it up and was not disappointed.
Got the catfish entree and the gumbo soup (lotta food) but it was so good. Cleaned the bowl and plate.
You can taste all the complex flavors in each dish.

I have been two other times and each time was a 5 star experience. Krewe is such a wonderful spot in Jersey City. The food is fresh and flavorful! I highly recommend finishing up your meal with a beignets!
