“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it. That’s what this restaurant is built on, they’ve perfected what most couldn’t: late night eats that satisfy the soul. Each type of dumpling was made with extra TLC. The hibachi combos were delicious as well, loaded with flavor, I’d recommend the noodles. And lastly the star of the show were the bao dumplings and garlic soy sauce. It paired so well with the flavor palette given I was appalled. Simple options, spectacular taste, save money live better walmart“

“Really fresh fish! Only had some yellowtail (I think) that seemed to be thawed so didn’t taste great. Otherwise, the Lover’s Boat was really good. All you can eat is another option I’ll try next time. Soup and salad are good as well. BOYB is a great plus, liquor store on the same block. Officially favorite local sushi spot!“

“Decent sashimi lunch combo, well packaged to go!
Sashimi 🐟 🍣
Decent portions of red snapper, salmon, tuna, and I think Hirame? Lots of tsuma shredded radish underneath. Premium soy sauce from Yamasa and Shirakiku.
Comes with salad and miso soup. Also white rice 🍚.“

“Got the $50 set menu, really good value. The 9 piece nigiri was really good. Miso black cod and coconut shrimp hand rolls also very good but logistically challenging. Korean chicken app was great, gyoza I didnt love. Place was clean and food was fast.“

“First time in this place. My boyfriend is very particular with the quality of tuna he’s getting from a sushi place, and Nigiri did not disappoint. I love my Salmon sashimi, too! The place is also well situated a few steps to Exchange Place, Waterfront which is a plus. Parking spot is a little hard to find but the food made it worth it.“

“Nice different place to enjoy with all the family“
“A small sushi stall in the middle of the Newport food court. Very nice workers running the place and the sushi is always very fresh! They have a decent selection of sushi and sides like seaweed salad and dumplings. I do wish it would be a little cheaper, but still greatly recommend it!“

“The definition of a corner neighborhood spot, with both indoor and outdoor seating to boot. Come before 7pm to take advantage of $6 Happy Hour rolls and apps, or splurge on the Honshu Roll if you want a rainbow roll with cool marbled seaweed. The kaarage is decent, but skip the weird fried cheese thing that sounds better on paper.
Service is brisk but friendly, and the outdoor patio is dog friendly.“

“Food was good and I had a good time throughout dinner. When we got the check the price of our meal was $4 more than what it said on the menu. When I asked the waitress she said they had just put in new menus and that the new price was reflected on our bill. We told them that we didn't know that and we expected that the old price would be honored which was $4 lower. They came to us and they said that if we insisted they could lower the price for us. So we said that we wanted that. otherwise it was a good meal. But I'm shocked that they did not just honor the price and expected us to accept the new price without seeing it on the menu. would not come back“
