“We haven’t been here for more than a year given we were dispointed with the dry brisket. Last night we were pleasantly surprised the brisket quality which was excellent. I hope this place remains consistent so we can come back with more frequency.“
“Love this cute little Asian cafe! I ordered the pork belly bahn mi and the berry short cakes. The bahn mi was a little disappointed it didn't have enough radish but overall the flavors were good. The short cakes were so delicious! I also got their vietnamese coffee and it was very good too! Would definitely come back to try more things!“
“I came here for brunch last Saturday and despite it being busy and not having a reservation (for a party of 2), we were welcomed and given a table fairly quickly. The staff was very friendly and patient. The food was delicious and the matcha latte was very good. I highly recommend the avocado toast and the French toast. I look forward to visiting again during another visit to NYC.“
“The food is absolutely fabulous. It is presented beautifully. We were going to go to the place next door, but due to the wait there, we ended up at Good Thanks. Such a delightful mistake. So much so that we came down again all the way from East Harlem to come back once more before the end of our trip. This is a must visit.“
“Cute and fun brunch spot in the west village.. some cool, kind of on the healthier side options. They dont take reservations so had to wait 20mins on a Saturday morning which was fine. Service was good, food was nice, nothing show-stopping. But would defo go again and will try the other locations.“
“Fast service and good food. The place is quite small with few tables to sit down and eat. We had the Giardino sandwich and the tofu platter with mild level spice sambal and white rice. Our meals were very good but they were both cold. Our sandwich with Munster cheese wasn't fully melted and the tofu and rice were also cold.“
“Absolutely love this place. Stopped in after 3 pm and was pleasantly surprised that they serve breakfast all day! Will definitely return to try some more of their meatless options. Gave it 4 stars only because my food was cold but still really delicious and tea was a bit hotter than ‘warm’ but not quite hot. I did love that they garnished the plates with edibles flowers.“
“It’s a cute little place! Went for dinner, the price was very reasonable, and the food was amazing! We had quiche and fish sandwiches and both were so tasty and the portion was big! Service was good too. We will definitely come back, maybe for breakfast or lunch soon!“
“Nice for a good espressoIts variety of products are a real temptation...I only ask that you put the prices on the menu..The fact that only you know how much each product you sell is worth leaves me at a disadvantage of not knowing if you are really giving me the right price.“
“The pancake is amazing so fluffy and you can taste the orange, kind of give a cake feel. The waffle is okay, the texture is slightly off/not what I wanted out of a waffle. its like hard ish. The eggs are soft and fluffy. The service was average, the place is nicely decorated. Great brunch spot.“
“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“
“Be prepared to wait! But it's worth it. The food was delicious. Service was friendly. It was a bit noisy. And if you were seated in the back, you would have people standing around waiting for their tables, especially if it was cold outside. Of course, it doesn't hurt that the restaurant was right in front of the water.“
“This place was fantastic! We stumbled across it whole staying in the lower east side while on vacation. It only seats about 10 people but wow! do they put out some quality southern-style food, locally sourced and made from scratch. Juice fresh squeezed, coffee hand-pressed and delicious food. The three of us each had something different and we all loved what we had. Service friendly and fast, too. Also, Motown music playing all the while gave it a good vibe. Highly recommend.“
“Gerties the vibes were amazing. Unlike other restaurants, Gertie wasn't afraid to change whole music genres it was a fun experience to enjoy quality music with some quality food. The staff were very friendly and offered to answer any questions I had. My favorite spot to sit is at the bar as you can see all your chefs hard at work. Good food comes with a passion. Personally, prices are a bit much it's a good treat but wouldn't say it would be good to eat every day.“
“Cute lil cafe!! Hibiscus lemonade was delicious and Creme Brulee Latte was the perfect balance of subtle and sweet. Food was fresh and piping hot. Wish the Fried Chicken Sandwich was a chicken breast and not tenders (a bit messy and difficult to eat), otherwise super good!“
“Tosti stands out as an excellent lunch spot, great for gatherings of friends and family alike. Their ability to accommodate diners with ease and efficiency makes every visit smooth and enjoyable. With meals served quickly, guests are spared long waits, perfect for lively groups. The restaurant’s vibrant atmosphere ensures an energetic dining experience, complemented by the staff’s friendly and welcoming attitude. Offering delicious food, rapid service, and a congenial setting, Tosti is a prime choice for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal with loved ones and friends.“
“These bowls are so amazing! When I first moved to New York I was looking for healthy and affordable food options and this quickly became my go-to. The teriyaki salmon is my favorite protein but to be honest everything has a very good taste. The only thing I don't like is that it really isn't my favorite place to sit down and eat.“
“Wow it was so good I forgot to take a picture when they brought it out. I was too busy eating. I am SOOO HAPPY there is finally a HALLAL chicken and waffle place… and it’s actually really good. I will drive coming back - especially since it’s such a good value for the amount of food you get. Also to those that care: customer service is really good“
“I love Softbite so much. Known for their souffle pancakes, it's hard not to head straight for dessert when here. And let me tell you those pancakes are literally bites of heaven that have come down to this earth. Let's narrow in on the souffle pancake phenomenon. People, it is still a pretty trendy food item and for good reasons! Not only are they gorgeous to look at, they are so tasty. I have had them at several places throughout NYC and Softbite is by far my favorite. My last visit solidified this and here's why: Late last year, Softbite introduced the Souffle Cup. This dessert has crème brûlée custard, a Japanese Shu cream and a souffle pancake all neatly layered on top of each other. The pancake is dusted lightly with powdered sugar. I can't get over how light, airy, not too sweet and delicious this dessert was. I paired it with my other go to item here, the sparking Yuzu and I had the best time enjoying my two treats while working here. Yes, I said working. They have free WiFi and also they are a flower vendor. On the way out they had gorgeous flowers on display available for purchase. This place just makes my heart so happy. Come here and I'm sure it will put a smile on your face.“
“food’s amazing -Chansons Cubano Ficelle Sandwich / Chanson Omelette.....so delicious; fresh , crisp and flaky pastries -real work of art... beautiful presentation...Shout out to Pastry Chef Ana who is pleasantly accommodating!!!!...unique & delectable Black Sesame Soft Serve ...highly recommend Mayflower Aromatic Blooming Tea...so cool ! And best of all- excellent service!.... Definitely not to be missed when in NYC !“
“Angelos is a must stop if you’re in the area. A quaint, neighborhood Italian eatery that delivers both quality and service. Love the chicken cutlets, broccoli rabe and pasta fagioli. Pictured is an egg, broccoli rabe and mozz breakfast wrap for under $10.“
“The food was absolutely delicious, the servers kind and responsive.I ordered the Home skillet and was pleasantly surprised by the ample portions and well cooked, properly seasoned fare. Additionally, the pricing was inexpensive and a great value. I will definitely return this week. Inwish the owner much success.“
“Great atmosphere, friendly staff and quality food. I work remotely here sometimes when I want to get out of the house and the wifi is strong, always a place to sit.Vegetarian options: Veggie omelet and benedict are pretty good. Wish they had a veggie breakfast sandwich because the BEC is pretty good.“
