“I've been looking for gluten free & nut free options west of Jersey Avenue, and Gussy's did their homework! I had a delicious gluten free breakfast sandwich, and their gluten free bread is fluffy and fresh (not frozen!). I came back for a breakfast wrap and was offered their chickpea (gf) wrap - which was just perfect! Their staff is super helpful and open to feedback, and the dine-in vibes are worth staying for!“

“A small cute asian fusion brunch restaurant.
The portions are decent. You get a lot of food and vegetables. I guarantee you get full after finishing your meal.
Every bites were filled with flavor. I recommend trying their vermicelli bowl. They have more western options such as breads and eggs too.
There are options for vegetarians and gluten free.
The coffee could be stronger.
Staffs are nice and welcoming.“

“The food is absolutely fabulous. It is presented beautifully. We were going to go to the place next door, but due to the wait there, we ended up at Good Thanks. Such a delightful mistake. So much so that we came down again all the way from East Harlem to come back once more before the end of our trip. This is a must visit.“

“Just a perfect local cafe. Beautiful, tasty food, good coffee, plenty of space, multiple vibes under one roof (all quiet, but not fussy; there's a back garden, some small tables and a coffee bar in front, and high tops in the back); clean restroom; and a pretty effortless flow between quiet and busy, which you can work right through without being disturbed. :)
Food and drink are a TAD pricey, but I'm from Flatbush and this is Park Slope, sooooooo ?
Definitely check it out!
Kid-friendliness: My kid loves it - ESPECIALLY the pizza and the chocolate gelato, which is unbelievably rich without being heavy! (She did see a bee in the back garden and she didn't love that - but, y'know, that's the risk of being outside.) ?“

“Such a good place to eat your lunch. I ordered the John's BLT and it was delicious. It's served with very salty crisps though so it will make you thirsty. It's mostly take-out here but there are three or four tables available to sit at. Be prepared to pay in cash though since credit or debet wasn't an option when we went. You can order online and then it is possible but ordering in the sandwich bar isn't. Nice spot in Brooklyn that is visited often by the locals as well and close to all the touristy areas.“

“It's has vegan options! Two kitchens!! Food is eggcellent also for vegetarians, service very nice and great to have a none rushed brunch. It is on the pricey side but you can taste the quality of the food! The only little speck is that its hard to get them on the phone.
The waffles were divine! Coming back for more!“

“Tried it for the first time for breakfast and everything was soooo good !! Honestly exceeded my expectations by a lot. I got the happy breakfast and my boyfriend got the veggie ommelette. Eggs were cooked perfectly for both. The pancakes were crispy on the edges and fluffy and moist on the inside. Hash browns and home fries were crispy and delicious. Nothing needed extra salt or pepper. I will definitely be making this a once a week breakfast spot.
They also have a lot of healthy choice options and really good coffee flavors.
Our server was very sweet and attentive and the atmosphere was so warm and trendy at the same time.
if you haven’t been yet definitely try it !
Felt like when I lived in NYC but better !!!!“

“Amazing atmosphere. Went with family of 5 to celebrate small birthday. It was our first time. We were immediately greeted by a friendly waiter, both waiters were very nice and polite. Our waiter explained the foods and drinks for us. The food and drinks were delicious, all of us were highly satisfied. Overall this place is a hidden gem. Can’t wait to go back for breakfast time.“

“What a delightful little breakfast/brunch place!!! We went here straight from the airport on our way into town, luggage and all, and it was perfect! We sat in the little outside area with the fans because the A/C was broken inside. My mom ordered the Grey Dog’s Breakfast with her eggs scrambled, French toast, and bacon, and it’s served with home fries. I ordered the egg and cheese croissant minus the parsley (not my fave) and added bacon. I’m picky about my home fries, so the server offered me french fries instead. We had exactly zero complaints about our meal. The portions are big, the eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly, and the French toast had this sweet butter with it that I can’t even compare to anything because it was so unique and delicious. The home fries ended up being DELICIOUS. The French fries were also good. I enjoyed the seasoning on them as well. I’m not a big fan of the thing shoe string fries, but these were good! The three employees we encountered were all very friendly and I would be more than happy to eat here again any time.“

“We had a reservation for a Sunday brunch and got seated immediately. We ordered the steak and eggs and the pancakes - highly recommend both of these. The eggs were cooked perfectly while the pancakes were so fluffy ?. Service was attentive without being overbearing. Definitely would go back even with so many options in NYC.“

“It was Saturday and we went to have lunch at noon.
It took about 15 minutes to wait for a table on site.
Ordered the same apple cider pancakes
The pancake itself is not too dry and has a cinnamon aroma
There will be syrup attached for us to add ourselves
Another dish of omelet was just average, with cheese on the outer layer of the egg.
You can choose lettuce on the sides and the muffin bread tastes average.
The drinks, latte and Americano, are both pretty good.
Suitable for walking around when the weather is nice and full.“

“This is my favorite place to eat ! I all ways get bacon egg and Taylor ham and yes that’s one sandwiches the best I tell you no lie !! But the here’s my bad news I just found out the owner past he was a great guy you will be forever missed hope to see you again!“
“Love love love love love love love their barbecue! If you get the whole chicken or half a chicken with white rice and fries the rice is not dry!! You know like most places, you can't eat a whole mouth full of rice without choking on it from it being dry? WELL Five Star's rice is so moist that you could literally sit there and gobble down a whole bunch of rice and not have to worry about it being dry as hell and choking on it!!
Parking: It's on the corner of Adams and market so it's very hard to find parking especially if it's after work hours there is absolutely no freaking parking like you have to double Park on market and it's very dangerous to do that because everybody drives like crazy after they get out of work“
“Produits de qualité, parfaitement préparés, cuisine sans prétention mais très équilibrée, service convivial et attentif. Un bel univers très gourmand ! Je recommande“

“The restaurant week $30 two-course lunch was quite good. The watermelon and pumpkin seeds added textural contrast to the gazpacho, while the avocado gave it some richness. The doubled dipped crispy chicken was served on a bed of cabbage salad. The amount of dressing was just right but it could have done away with the cornbread croutons as there were not crisp or but rather dry and crumbly. Price-wise this offer is almost getting the first course for free as most plates are around the $30.“
“2nd visit. We'd been very impressed by the food our 1st trip - for a hip cocktail bar scene, it was quite good. But less so this time - the short ribs were especially disappointing, not at all what we expected. Service still very good but maybe needs to tighten on the menu.“

“Casual but warm, atmosphere. Food is of exceptional quality and portions are generous. Service is always with a smile. Be prepared for a wait during busy times (weekend brunch etc.)
Vegetarian options: Vegan options are limited
Parking: This is in the middle of a residential neighborhood so parking is hard to find. Plan to park on Coney Island Av and walk over.

“All the apps were delicious, and the entree was great, too. Very cute vibe inside and with the outdoor seating. Service was a bit slow, but it was a slow night overall. Really can't speak highly enough of the food though. It was really great. Had the dumplings, pierogi's, and tuna tartare, and the pecan salad.“
