“We got an Airbnb arpund the Corner and wanted an authentic breakfast.
The Lady who Served was Kind and explained everything to us and was patient.
Food was good, Portion sizes alot bigger than expected, although the Pancakes could have used some syrup imo.
Still a recommendation, even though it's a busy place, it adds to the Charme for Sure.

“Everything you want in a dinner. Brown panels, old style billboard menu, bar stools and booths. It looks like its out of the 80s or 90s. I love it. A healthy serving of Western Omelette and Gritz for the now current price of $10. Definitely going back“

“Everything tasted amazing!!!!! the crab rangoons are so delicious and perfectly flavored, it is a treat every time i order them for an amazing price too!!! the sesame chicken had a great flavor and is not too sweet, the general tso chicken is perfectly spicy and tender. there are no little crumbly pieces as i would usually get at most take out!! the coke cans (diet) were nice and cold, and the veggie low mein noodles were perfectly dry and flavorful and HOMEMADE? (although the lettuce is weird sorry). the dumplings in chili oil taste super authentic and have a greattttt flavor. i loved everything here and i would order 10000 percent again. never change !! (besides the lettuce)

Vegetarian options: all the tofu options are sooo delicious!! super crispy and delicate.“

“Parking lot was what we needed, but the food was excellent. Great service and the breakfast was excellent: French toast, pancakes, sandwich with bacon, Taylor ham, and eggs. Easy access to/from the highway.

“I come here every sunday morning or afternoon for breakfast. I usually call ahead to pick up and the food is usually ready 15 minutes after the order is placed. Today I ordered pork sausage, scrambled eggs and home fries. Sometimes I get cheese grits but the consistency isn't there with it so my safe option is home fries. The breakfast platter comes with toast and it cost less than $12. The burgers here are okay too but the plain cheesecake I would not recommend. The atmosphere is bustling with people and attentive servers and it has an old school feel to it. They also have specials if you dine in so go give it a try.“

Exactly what you expect when you picture a diner. No frills, cheap, and exceptionally average food. It gets the job done, with the kind of gritty atmosphere you’d expect from a place that’s been serving neighborhood regulars for years.

I had the cheeseburger, while the person next to me was chowing down on chicken parm and spaghetti. The cheeseburger tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. It reminded me of the kind I used to get at the bowling alley as a kid.

10/10 recommend. Will return.“

“I really enjoyed this place. It has some retro charm. It even had a Photos booth and the food was good. The desserts were amazing. Largest milkshake I’ve ever seen in person and the staff was really nice and friendly and Alfredo the manager was really good guy.“

I literally turned to my husband and told him “this is the kinda service I like” thoughtful friendly warm bartenders who spark convo, and answer every question. Such a good atmosphere and good music. Every song I was like…. Omg…. Love that song. I didn’t know what to expect, I try to avoid spots with bars or interiors that are overly beautiful when I’m hangry lol. I find the food usually doesn’t hit, since some places typically focus more on drinks, but I was pleasantly surprised.

The food was so thoughtfully made. I had the best BLT, small details in prep, like perfectly shredded lettuce and sliced tomato’s really can make or break a sandwich. My husband loved his burger and the fries were so crispy and good. Typical city prices, and the atmosphere makes you wanna stay awhile so it’s worth it to me. Beautiful during the day but next time im gonna come later in the day I can enjoy the deep rich atmosphere they carefully curated. So so beautiful.“

“directly around the corner of hotel 17, joe jr is not a hot spot or insta worthy eatery. it is jus a regular diner for everyone. diverse menu, affordable prices and a quality you’d miss at a regular fast food stop. you dont have to rush or push to get what you want.

Our server Brandi M. belted out a wicked version of The wizard and I! I ordered the BLT with avocado and waffle fries and my friend ordered the chicken and waffles. Both were delicious.“

“Came here on a Saturday afternoon after seeing the pancakes and had to investigate for myself. I was dining solo, so grabbed a seat at the counter and ordered the three-stack blueberry pancakes with coffee. The pancakes looked fantastic and tasted even better, the blueberries are baked right into them, although I wouldn’t have complained about a little more blueberry sauce on top.

It was busy and lively, but the staff were friendly and the whole experience had that classic diner charm.“

It quickly turned into wine, free bread, and the best pappardelle bolognese I've had (and priced so well at $18 for fresh pasta). “Stopped by Tria Bakery Cafe Diner while waiting out a 2-hour wait at Golden Diner. We were starving and didn’t want to stand around in the cold, and this place ended up being the perfect move. It’s only about a 6-minute walk from Golden Diner, and we were able to sit down, stay warm, and enjoy good food and coffee while we waited. Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and exactly what we needed. Definitely glad we came here.“
