“We absolutely loved Townhouse Diner! We ended up coming here almost every day during our stay in New York because it quickly felt like our home away from home.

“Lovely typical American diner, very clean with professional staff. The food is exactly what you'd want it to be; we had a breakfast burrito and avocado toast with poached eggs which we perfectly cooked. Free refills on the coffee was brilliant too. We were there about 8:45 and were seated straight away, order was taken promptly and the food arrived without any real wait. Definitely recommend.“

Every time I have done this, without exception, I have had to stand and wait as my order hasn't even been started yet - and I do arrive at designated pick up time. Interestingly if you order delivery it arrives in 15 mins:) That aside, this is hands down the best diner food I have encountered. It never fails to amaze me when I see the lines outside Gramercy Diner where the food is terrible when this place is so much better!! “Squire’s Diner is one of those places that reminds you why local diners are still the best. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable.

The food was absolutely delicious. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. You can tell care goes into the food, and the portions were generous too. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full, satisfied, and already thinking about what you’ll order next time.

It’s only about a 6-minute walk from Golden Diner, and we were able to sit down, stay warm, and enjoy good food and coffee while we waited. “I pass this restaurant most mornings going to work. Today since was early for work I went in to get breakfast (take out). Debra automatically spotted me in the crowded restaurant I let her know I wanted to Take my food to go. She got me a menu, came back took my order. Food didn’t take long. Whoever the lady was that took my payment was rude put my card on the counter with the slip for me to sign. She should have handed me my card. Debra made sure that I was aware my card was on the counter. She said put your card don’t forget about it. I would definitely go back for Debra’s world class service.“

“Great breakfast. Plenty of options. I had corned beef hash and mu wife had chicken and waffles. Both were excellent. Bus of 43 came in right after we sat down and the staff handled it beautifully. Lots of famous photos on the wall..may have to see if they will hang mine up there...after all...they had a photo with a youtube dog on it.

“It's great, but it's SO expensive. I got an omelette which came with hash browns and toast-- $35 after tax, tip, and fees!!!

The chorizo omelette was very tasty. Staff was kind.

I would go again, but only occasionally because of the price. The reason is there are other high-end restaurants where I could have a fancier meal for a similar price, but that said I did still enjoy the food and the experience.“
