About The Comfort Diner

The Comfort Diner offers a classic diner experience with a friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. The menu features a variety of comfort food favorites, including a satisfying club sandwich, delicious chicken and waffles, and a tasty eggs benedict made with bacon. The waffles are nice and soft, while the chicken is considered okay. The eggs benedict is nice but could use more sauce. The diner also serves great French bread and hearty portions of food, such as Charlie French toast with eggs and bacon. The ambiance is cozy and old-fashioned, capturing the charm of a 1970s American diner. The staff is friendly and attentive, though some customers noted that a female server can seem grumpy and may ignore diners at times. The diner is kid-friendly with menu options for children, and it is wheelchair accessible despite a narrow entrance. Overall, the Comfort Diner is a popular spot for breakfast and comfort food, praised for its exceptional food and welcoming environment. Customers are impressed with the quality of the dishes and the helpfulness of the employees, and many plan to return for favorites like the Philly cheesesteak and fries, as well as the seasonal menu.

Delicious food. You get a lot of food for the price. Great NYC diner!
A trip to NYC is incomplete for us without a pancake breakfast at this great diner. The owner and staff are welcoming and the food is excellent!
This diner is a hole in the wall family owned restaurant. It has a cute diner feel. Probably needs updating, but I do like the old diner ambience! The food was good and decent portions. The club sandwich was huge, the grilled cheese was your classic grilled cheese, we also had some breakfast food items that were yummy. Some menu items are overpriced, but that's what you get in New York!
