The manager is very sharp, efficient and friendly. He's on top of the customers' needs without being overbearing. They know their customers and sometimes their orders too. I'll definitely be returning!“

“Nice old style diner in a strip mall near Citi Field. Needed a hot drink and some disco fries when we left the game, they had both. Lots of locals in the area by almost nothing residential. Fantastic friendly service. Old school charm. Food came out fast and hot. They made disco fries for us without any problem. A bit pricey but what isn't these days.“

“This was our second time going there. Our daughter goes to Pratt and it's walking distance from the school. It's a small diner but friendly staff. On one of the coldest days of winter the host made sure people were not waiting long for tables as best as she could. The food was good and service was really good. I'm glad my daughter has a place like this close to her dorm.“

I had the weekend omelettw and cinnamon roll. Both were excellent. The chorizo and goat cheese blended so well in the omelette. The cinnamon roll was memorable, definitely among the best I have had.

“I pass this restaurant most mornings going to work. Today since was early for work I went in to get breakfast (take out). Debra automatically spotted me in the crowded restaurant I let her know I wanted to Take my food to go. She got me a menu, came back took my order. Food didn’t take long. Whoever the lady was that took my payment was rude put my card on the counter with the slip for me to sign. She should have handed me my card. Debra made sure that I was aware my card was on the counter. She said put your card don’t forget about it. I would definitely go back for Debra’s world class service.“

The food was regular diner food that he elevated. Huge portions and decent price. He retired or left and people who worked for him took over. I rarely go now. Food is decent but prices went up and portions are smaller. The servers are good and personable. Place seems to always be busy since there are several schools and offices in the area. Still decent but you don't get as much value for your money and no charm and personality from George.“

Even eating it today, it brings back memories of when my mom would take me and my siblings to eat there for dinner. At the time, they would close much later than they do now. Thankfully, I'm already walking home by 2 pm, and since I live close by, the delivery was nice and fast. The food is always delicious, generously well priced, and the customer service is always really nice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger that came with fries, along with an extra side of onion rings. That came up to $20 on the dot, and with the portions they serve, I was more than happy with that price. I have, and I will continue to go to this amazing restaurant. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.“

“Fast Service and seating even when the parking lot is full..(the sit and wait method will grab you a space fastest) the staff is always friendly. The Crab Cake Benedict is one of the best we've ever had and it's a hard dish to get right to the point it's the only place we have it now...the Crab is real Crab and a plentiful portion, the Apple French Toast is another favorite. We've eaten here many times and was always pleased with the portions and quality..They have good deserts too and also serve liquor (drinks). The Restaurant is Newer / Modern and the bathrooms are always clean. Definitely a place you'd enjoy eating at!“
