Wanted a taste of a classic Brooklyn diner and this didn’t disappoint. Couldn’t fault the food, service or price. My only wish is that I could come here every week, and not just when I’m on holiday!
After cycling 136 miles: I’m hungry, cold, & tired. MIKE’S was opened at 6 am and in proximity of the Atlantic Terminal.Just what the doctor ordered. I’m the 3rd patron in the door at 6:15 am. Sat at the counter and ordered the corn beef hash with eggs & hash brown.I can’t really remember much except that I wolfed it down. A perfect establishment—solid breakfast food, kind servers, and a vibe that reminds me of going to breakfast with my dad as a kid. Other diners in the city are at least twice as expensive and don’t provide half the warmth or charm of this place. Thank you thank you Mike’s!!!
