Silver Star Restaurant is a breakfast and lunch spot in NYC that treats customers like family. The staff is super friendly and generous, happily making accommodations for allergies like gluten or dairy, including gluten free bread. Early bird specials are unbelievable with so much food you can’t eat it all. Portions are generous, everything arrives piping hot. The pancakes were large and fluffy with real maple syrup, scrambled eggs truly fresh, and potatoes made from real potatoes crispy on the outside and smooth, creamy perfection inside. The almond milk latte with cinnamon is delightful. Thanksgiving dinner was an unexpected delight with outstanding food, excellent hospitality, and a perfect atmosphere. One guest loved the nachos and enjoyed Mercedes’ service. The restaurant looked very empty, and more lights on the outside would help. One high point of trips from Ohio, and a table of 7 everyone loved their meal. The food was just as amazing after surgery too.
