“2 dollars each! This is the best restaurant, with great value for money and delicious food. The owner, an old man, is funny, pleasant and friendly.I will go buy it again! !Although it is far from major tourist spots, I would like tourists to experience it as well.“
“This was perfect for a cheap yet tasty a filling lunch. They also have a good selection of Japanese groceries but I was here for their freshly made omusubi which they offer in a variety of flavors. I got a spicy tuna and chashu pork - both were delicious and two were the perfect amount for a nice lunch.“
“Cash only! Cantonese har cheong fun (fresh shrimp) is one of my favorite foods, and this cart does a delicious take of Cantonese style cheong fun rolls. Their prices are cheap and the system is very efficient. This place has been getting more popular so the line can get long but it moves quickly. They speak Cantonese and English so don't be scared away if you're not Chinese! The only qualm I have is that there's no where nearby to eat. I wanted the rolls while they were hot and ended up wandering awkwardly and trying to eat while walking. Seeing as this is a food card there's nothing they can do about this, but I suggest coming up with a game plan to eat your food once you order.“
“Some of the most tender chicharrones I've ever had. I wanted to try their beef ribs but unfortunately they were out of stock when we got there. We went on a Saturday night and they played live Latin music so the overall ambiance was dope. I will be back to try the beef ribs. The pork ribs were seasoned and tender to perfection. Cool spot for BBQ lovers!!!“
“I got the Chicken and Lamb over Rice combo for $7. Yes, 7 dollars flat!!! It was absolutely delicious and a hugee portion for the price and quality. The meat was well seasoned and really tender and juicy. I really loved the lamb and it wasn't gamey at all. The mix of greens you get really freshens things up and adds a nice little crunch. The white sauce is a must. This was probably one of my favorite things I ate on my trip. You get your food really fast too. Sit down at the park nearby and enjoy your meal.Payment is pretty easy, you can Zelle directly to pay or use cash. I don't thinkkk credit was accepted (can't remember).Price, taste, portions, and service... you can't beat it!!“
“My favourite home town food which is he is serving in the week 4 to 5 days. We really love the food here & drum sticks are must try & samosas are really big size . We can’t imagine in Washington square park NY he is serving dosa in this price! Also vegans, pure vegetarian foods THANK YOU so much mr. Chef THIRU annan . we love you’re food & your hospitality keep rocking ???“
“Got to be the most flavourful chicken doner I ever had and I am saying this after exploring food through 20+ countries. I tried their doner at 11 in the morning and it was a burst of flavours in my mouth. Great hospitality as they helped me charge my phone as I finish my meal. This review is 5 months late as I visited them in September 2023 but I still remember their taste of doner.“
“The skewers weren't too spicy when eating them but definitely leaves a numbing feeling after. My favorite was the pork skewers. The chicken hearts imo weren't as fresh as I'd like them, but my fiance said they were good.Me and my fiance found this place on Google maps. People had posted that the couple who runs the cart opens at 5pm. We went on a Sunday and they were running a little late. They got there around 5:30pm but was able to get the cart up and running fairly quickly so we didn't have to wait long after they put the food on. It's cash only.“
“As i am eating these rice noodles, can’t express how lucky i feel finding this cart. Was looking for a close by and quick to go breakfast. The rice noodles are super smooth. Lady selling is the very down to earth kind, honest and no non-sense. I bought a large size noodle with fish balls with sauce for 2 people. Everything was steaming hot. Brings back childhood memories.Wheelchair accessibility: Just on the street, very accessible.“
“amazing lamb , probably some of the best in the city! chicken n lamb salad for only $8 a plate and it’s some of the best around… Most places charge $12-15 for chicken w lamb salads and for $8 this is some of the best lamb around! A lot of other places also have very chewy lamb w a lot of fat and this place doesn’t have that! it’s completely different. I come here daily sometimes even twice a day and had lamb all over, he cooks it perfectly!“
“Mando halal food is a go to food for lunch after lectures. Very cheap and affordable for college students like me, the platters used to be $5 but now its $6 but its still okay. The guy always greets me with a smile and prepares the food very fast. The lamb or chicken over rice taste so good compared to the price, of course the best part is the sauce. Never got bored of their food, I've been ordering every time after I finished classes since the begining of the year.“
“Food is consistent in the 2x’s I’ve ordered through Uber Eats. Love the burgers and truffle fries, but for some reason the side salad is always the winner for me! It’s not anything terribly special, but it hits the spot and balances the meal really well. My new go to when craving fast food, but not wanting the usual.“
“The bread is super delicious and fresh, it really has the flavor of Mexico. When I had the pleasure of trying it, I felt happy and proud of my roots. Apart from the very friendly and gracious staff, they gave me a very tasty bread stuffed with rice pudding as a courtesy ?⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Great vibes and lot of food to choose from. The lightbulb drink mango was great. Chicken waffle with fries was good. Also tried food I don't usually get ever like Philippine food and Latin American smoked meat. Overall had a great experience. The aapi show was good too. The violinist was passionate and Hawaiian dancers were nice.“
“I have been going around halal carts that are Egyptian, Moroccan, and Lebanese. By far the best one in my opinion is Faisal's Cart.He actually packs it with proper nutrients and doesn't douse it in oil which is very rare for a halal cart. I honestly frequent this cart, as a guy who would rarely eat out due to worries about the quality of the food that's being used. For this cart, it's not a concern and I'd highly recommend this cart 100% possibly the only cart you'll ever see that can serve you broccoli and actual real vegetables!“
“Passing by a few times and finally today I tried their chicken platter. So glad I did! Chicken is juicy, fresh salad, balance with rice. Since it is my first time I ask for a bit of all sauces. All pretty good. Hot sauce is indeed hot though, thank goodness I can take a hit ?. Not sure if a falafel is part of the order but he did give me one. It was cold but still pretty good. I can imagine how good it will be if it is warm. $10 and they take credit card. A nice lunch choice. Compare to other food trucks around. I would think this is a better choice.“
“Delicious. Chicken/lamb platter was seasoned well and perfectly diced. Rice was light and fluffy. No grease at the bottom of the container. White sauce was very flavorful and the red sauce wasn't "burn your mouth off" hot. The guy that runs the cart is a gem. Cash only.“
“If you work in or around the Bronx courthouses, this is where you should be eating. There's really nothing else that compares in terms of quality, value, and service. Great food, great people, and a great big line; for a reason!I recommend: the menu in its entirety.“
“This iconic food cart is located kitty corner across from Park Central Hotel before the side entrance to Carnegie Hall. It's a very unassuming cart and John keeps things simple with made to order sandwiches and platters. I ordered 2 lamb gyro pita sandwiches with vegetables and "white sauce" for my wife and me. Fresh, tasty, good. And John is a super nice guy.“
“A beautiful place perfect to eat a burrito al pastor tacos from Carnitas and everything is fresh instantly prepares the meat like other trucks that already have the meat cooked just heat it up and then it's over that's why other people complain that two tacos half an hour Esque He doesn't know about the service they roast and everything is fresh until the radish is cut instantly ???Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegetarian except for the flautas gordita and tamales ☺️☺️☺️“
“i have been more inclined to try food carts as a bunch have been recommended by friends especially in the queens area and today its taco veloz in elmhurst and it was worth it for tasty tacos , burritos, tostados. etc. this visit it was a triple taco treat and the choices are many from pork , chicken, goat , cheese , beef and a few more that i am not brave enough to try .2 chicken, i beef , with the works minus the sauce please .for less then 15 bucks including soda my belly was full and happy. food is very good and most important its fresh . to be fair its not really a stand but a store front where you order at the outdoor counter space and hit the road . we were lucky as we were the 5th on line and ordering and pickup is less then 10 minutes as the workers are moving around fast .must give 4 stars overall and you dont have to go to a sit down restaurant to get good mexican food at cheap prices .“
“I stopped by this place on my first visit to Urban Hawker and I'm so glad I found it! Urban Hawker itself is a great Singaporean food hall, and while I'd want to try some of the other spots there as well, I'll definitely be coming back to Smokin Joe at some point. Walking through the stalls, the news article at their booth stating they have some of the best fish and chips in New York City is what initially drew me in. The other dishes on the menu looked great too, but I knew that's what I'd have to try. The crust on the fish had good flavour, the fish was tender (albeit a bit thin), the fries were amazingly crispy (almost like Costco food court fries, if any Canadians happen to come across this) and the most addicting pineapple slaw. Each component was great on its own, and everything came together really well. While I don't think I'd had quite enough fish and chips here to substantiate the claim, the fish and chips here are a great pick and I'll definitely be back again.“
“Good midtown lunch option but not standout (aka not worth traveling for). I got the traditional prawn & pork ribs noodles, and to be fair, I might just not be the biggest fan of this dish - I just don't love the thin noodles (I find it a bit too hard). The pork ribs were good although I didn't really care for the shrimp. The soup was tasty.“
“My daughter and I were just passing by 3rd avenue and 38th and found the truck (later we visited there but it seems to have moved to other places). We tried a falafel sandwich and wow it was so authentic and great value ($6.50). The chef was so kind and smiling. We will find out and visit again“
“Karl has brought Japanese street food that takes a ton of time, care, and skill to do right straight to New York. All the places I've tried Takoyaki from in the city are either microwaved from frozen packets or just aren't that level of quality. Karl sells something that tastes just like what you'd find in the streets of Osaka and brings it to life an ocean away. Noone else can beat it. When I get that itch for good takoyaki there's only one game in town and that's KARLSBALLS.10/10 would ball again.Edit: Takoyaki should be runny and gooey inside. That contrast in texture is another element you get to enjoy. That's how I had it when I was in Osaka. It's something that isn't very common here in the US so give it a shot! I promise you, you will not be disappointed.“
“Wow, hands down the best halal food truck in the city. I heard great things about it and it really went beyond my expectations when I got to finally try it. The gentleman is so attentive, puts love into each order. I had a mixed platter but it wasn’t like those boring ones, this platter was LOADED. Everything mixed well together and everything tasted fresh. I will only be going to this location from now on.“
“So it was our first time trying halal food and to be honest it was delicious. Very different flavors but everything worked really well together. Super fresh and had a strong aromatic taste. The meat was all tender and had great flavor. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try more. Thanks !!“
“We've been going here since they opened. Our favorite sushi in Fair Lawn. Staff is friendly and they are the best bang for the buck! Love the rainbow roll! Located inside the market. Best kept secret on Broadway. After all these years still consistent!!!“
“We’re huge fans of Bang in downtown Jersey City and knew we had to share our cookie obsession with our wedding guests when they visited our neighborhood for our big day this past fall. Bang cookies were the perfect hotel welcome bag treat for our guests spending the weekend. Bang has long been our go-to for late night sweet tooth cravings, so it was a no brainer to incorporate them in our wedding. The team was easy to work with and we had no problems setting up a large cookie order. Our cookies were ready on time and packed away in easy to carry boxes. They were delicious as always and our guests were thrilled to have a giant sweet treat waiting for them. Whether it be a weekday snack or special event treat, we highly recommend ordering Bang!“
“A1 Food Distributors is my #1 stop for all BBQ, Catering, and Party needs. A truly one-stop shop that’s dedicated to high quality products and customer service. A family owned business centered on serving the community, The Bronx and NYC. Nick, Tracy, Pincho and all the workers at A1 are Amazing!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Nice place in a beautiful locale. The owners are polite enough. The selection is good. So are the prices. You’re not going here to get blown away with a great meal. You’re going here to get something to knosh on while you walk around Snug Harbor.“
“Yolanda is our go-to street food vendor in Harlem. It’s quick to get one or two tamales but she also does larger orders which we’ve done in the past—a big success with our group of friends. Try the pork or green chili chicken along with either a corn chocolate, or jamaica (hibiscus) drink ?“
“You might miss this place because of how small and compact the truck is but trust me you will not regret getting online and waiting for this steaming hot meal! Taco's are hands down one of my favorite foods to eat and this place was such a DELCIOUS! find! This place seems to pack their taco with flavorful shredded beef, refreshing herbs and an amazing sauce that pairs perfectly with the tacos. After I ate my 3 tacos I was ready to take a big nap because of how stuffed they got me! Small but extremely mighty. I crave these the next day when they are all gone and I cannot wait to travel back and eat here again in the summer.“
