“Traveled from out of town to see a friend but also maybe mostly to eat the spicy chicken katsu that I’ve dreamt of since Mini Mart/Mama Yoshi’s used to be a pop up at All Night Skate and we would go sit outside in the cold and enjoy the food and a cocktail. Moved out of reach in 2022 and my life has not been complete without the sandwhich I’ve evangelized across several countries and continents. Thankfully as spicy or at least close to as spicy as it has always been. Thanks for keeping the quality and quantity the same and the prices really much closer than I expected. And sick merch per usual.“

NY is in serious need of pizza spots you can just sit and hang at and this is one of the best spots to it.

With different sizes of pizza, specials and incredible drinks, me and my friends frequent this spot when we just wanna eat delicious pizza and chill.

Get the clam pie - it’s out of this world. The staff and vibe are also spot on. It also does the thing few restaurants do- they let you hang out! You never feel pressured to close out and leave!! You know how rare that is?! Love this spot.“

“I come here often and the people are sweet, the food is good, but I genuinely cannot remember the last time they got my bagel order correct. I’m talking consistently wrong for the past few years. I’m beginning to think they are out to get me.. I almost double checked today, but I saw how clearly the order read, “NO EGG” (currently have major egg ick) and thought…, “you know what? Today they will get it right.”… as I walked home with the brown paper bag… something didn’t feel right.. it was too heavy…. When I opened it, sure enough, there was egg. My order was wrong again. Considering my coffee and bagel cost me $20 with an 18% tip, I’m slightly pissed off. Alas, I’ll be back, but next time I’m checking (I won’t).“

“This place was an amazing find right before going to a show at the Knockdown Center. We had 2 Chicken Fajitas and some Chicharrones. We did not expect to finish the whole meal but it was so tasty that we had to. The service was great and we got a little complimentary shot of liquor mid meal. “Man… this is one of the best businesses in existence. I’ve gotten various cakes from them over the years , and every single time they have been consistently delicious, rich, and exuberant. The tres leches is not too sweet, and the frosting complements the cake as well. It’s overall a very well rounded cake.

The service is spectacular as well — they can prepare an order for you in no time, and will decorate it and ensure that it is beautiful. All the while being as friendly as possible.

And the price, is more than fair.

It truly is rare nowadays to find businesses who are in it to be good business owners, and I find this bakery to be the cream of the crop. I love them .“

“Wonder has been one of our most consistent go-tos. Pickup is usually easy, the system works, the space is clean, and the food has honestly surprised me from day one. When they first opened, it felt like every order was dialed in, like the kitchen cared.

I’ve tried a ton of the menu and there are staples I keep coming back to: the salmon is always generously portioned and perfectly cooked, the sauces and capers are on point, and the broccolini is genuinely one of the best sides I’ve had anywhere - that char + acidity goes with everything. Even the simple stuff like fries and potatoes hit when they’re done right.

That’s why I’m leaving this review: lately I’ve had a stretch of 5-6 orders with small misses that didn’t used to happen - missing toppings, uneven pizzas, a pizza with a huge bubble, broccolini missing the lemon dressing, stuff like that. Not enough to stop ordering, but enough that it makes me stick to the “safe” items instead of exploring.

Still a big fan, still ordering regularly, just hoping the consistency snaps back to how it was because Wonder at its best is hard to beat.“

“I’ve been coming here for years, and this place holds a special memory for me, it’s actually where I met my girlfriend about six years ago. Back then, I was always ordering their tacos because they were so good. I came back yesterday and decided to try something different, the lomo saltado, and it was absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded my expectations. The service was also friendly and welcoming. It’s great to see this place is still serving amazing food after all these years. “As someone born and raised in Thessaloniki, I know a proper gyro. Gyro World gets it right. The pork gyro is spot on - juicy, seasoned just like we do it back home, carved fresh off the spit, wrapped in soft pita with tomato, onion, and real tzatziki. Tastes like Greece.

My brother got the chicken gyro and it is just as good. Tender, full of flavor, with that nice char. You can tell they care about doing it properly.

The place feels welcoming. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. No frills, just honest, quality Greek food. If you’re looking for a proper gyro in New York, this is the spot.“
