“How spoiled am I to have this little shop of delights a few blocks from my front door? Onigiri, Masubi, and Katsu o my. I’d advise coming hungry or bringing a friend the portions are generous and amazingly paired with a genuinely warm and welcoming staff. Also amazing merch, really can’t say enough positive things about my local mini mart :)“

“I realized I’ve never left a review despite ordering from here for YEARS. E-chiban has some of the best sushi in town for quality and price. It’s one of the few places I get delivery from and the quality and portion size is always great. Their prices have gone up, but I do feel with how much they give you it’s worth it (especially the salmon sashimi dinner)! Their delivery driver (Mok?) is always so kind, remembers my name and order, and is great at his job. It’s nice being a regular here. I’ve tried other places nearby and they don’t come close imo.“

“Man… this is one of the best businesses in existence. I’ve gotten various cakes from them over the years , and every single time they have been consistently delicious, rich, and exuberant. The tres leches is not too sweet, and the frosting complements the cake as well. It’s overall a very well rounded cake.

The service is spectacular as well — they can prepare an order for you in no time, and will decorate it and ensure that it is beautiful. All the while being as friendly as possible.

And the price, is more than fair.

It truly is rare nowadays to find businesses who are in it to be good business owners, and I find this bakery to be the cream of the crop. I love them .“

“This place is the best best. I’ve ordered General Tsos bean curd and many Chinese places in the neighborhood and this is hands down the best. They’ll make pretty much any dish vegetarian bean curd edition but the General Tsos is outta sight.“

“This place is cozy and the food is very authentic, it truly feels like you’re going to someone’s home and they’re cooking for you. Everything was full of flavor, and the tacos were great.

There are lots of options on the menu, plus happy hour until 7 PM, which is a nice bonus. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

The restaurant also has TVs if you want to watch a game, and they host events at night, which adds to the vibe. Definitely a spot worth checking out.“

“Their pizza and sicilian pies are very tasty and the portions are good. I cannot stand when a delivery person who is miles away accepts my order because I live about 6 blocks and they can take an hour to deliver. I’m adding a photo of their sicilian pie which was delicious. The pepperoni pieces were added by me not them, I buy pepperoni slices and chop them up myself to save money lol. I would not recommend the lasagna, It was swimming in oil.“

“Was it better back in the 2000s and before? Definitely, but it’s still a solid diner. Their pancakes are amazing, it has that old school NY diner taste to them, that I crave from time to time. Fair portions, and cheaper than chain restaurants like ihop. Just wish they served better sausage links, but still decent so can’t complain.“

“4 Caminos vs Taquiera Kermes : both restaurants serves outstanding tacos. For few bucks more 4 C you get bigger portions. It’s not really easy to distinguish who is better and who’s not it’s up to individual to try and enjoy. Wish them both. Good luck.“

“As someone born and raised in Thessaloniki, I know a proper gyro. Gyro World gets it right. The pork gyro is spot on - juicy, seasoned just like we do it back home, carved fresh off the spit, wrapped in soft pita with tomato, onion, and real tzatziki. Tastes like Greece.

My brother got the chicken gyro and it is just as good. Tender, full of flavor, with that nice char. You can tell they care about doing it properly.

The place feels welcoming. The staff are friendly and the service is quick. No frills, just honest, quality Greek food. If you’re looking for a proper gyro in New York, this is the spot.“
