Sybil's Reviews
Lately the pastries red bread pinetarts and blackeyes are horrible. Not very tasty and very dry. Very disappointing.
Always crowded till closing time.
Great food, great service. Always pack. Roti taste like my grandmothers! Smiling happy workers. Even say thank you after giving you your order. I wish the drinks were natural without the added sugars and gums, but still good my second time we travel a total of 2 hours round trip.

Sybil's is a popular spot for delicious pastries and Guyanese cuisine. The staff is efficient, and the lines move quickly despite often being out the door. The menu offers a variety of fresh and tasty options, including bake and saltfish, fish cakes, pound cake, and sweet bread. The baked goods are a standout, especially the pastries like the Guyanese chicken empanada and pineapple tart, which are very flaky and full of flavor. The peanut punch is highly recommended for its unique, sweet, and creamy peanut butter flavor that many customers enjoy. The restaurant is organized, with polite and professional service, and is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. While parking can be difficult and they do not have a parking lot, the restaurant is worth visiting for the tasty food and pastries. Some dishes like chicken curry with dhal puri and cod fish cake may be dry or greasy, but overall, the food offers great flavor and a true Guyanese experience.
