“I love this place for lunch. Something hardy, healthy and fulling. I'm not a vegan but this place is one that I've returned to many times. The ginger chicken is my absolutely favorite 😍. I usually get a small meal which comes with 2 sides and a protein. Ginger chicken, mac and cheese and kale 😋.“

“Staff is very kind Good vibes from the minute you walk in the place. Happy people happy place.
The food is Ethiopian vegan. No vegan smoothies or mock duck pad Thai but primarily Ethiopian based plant foods. It was something I was interested in trying and they do it well here. No complaints with the food. Be advised though that the food is light so don't expect to walk away with a bloated heavy stomach.
Worth a try for the customer service alone.“

Saltenas were rich, juicy, and hearty (start at one end) and the Sopa de Mani is not at all what I expected peanut soup to taste like. think of Rich complex New England clam chowder without the clams. really no peanutty taste at all. the owner was wonderful as well“

When I finally try that food I just got in shock. Super tasty, delicious, the Trinidad and Dominican Republic flavors- was so down the earth. “This is a very local restaurant.
It doesn't have fancy decor, nor does it serve mind-blowing dishes with flavors you can't find anywhere else.
However, their food is very wholesome and down-to-earth, without the heavy oils or excessive salt used to aggressively hook a customer's palate.
The prices are also very affordable—I imagine people working nearby frequent this place often.
I'm a delivery truck driver, and whenever I pass through this area, I make sure to stop by.
The elderly owner is Taiwanese and extremely kind, and they also employ some Spanish staff. The overall work atmosphere is wonderful, and I'm certain the owner treats them very well. Dining here gives you a sense of peace that you just can't find anywhere else.
You shouldn't go out of your way just to eat here, but if you happen to be passing by, you definitely have to drop in and check it out.“

“Neighborhood gem. Great decor, homey, comfortable but well appointed. I have dined here alone and with family, both times it was a good atmosphere. GM Michael is really good and runs a good staff. The food is delicious- good for all types of diet restrictions. Fresh ingredients well prepared. Last but not least also great cocktails. Host and server were friendly and attentive. “Awesome staff! Don’t know his name but he is very welcoming and nice! The chocolate chip cookie smelled so good when it just taken out from the oven that I had to get one! And the rum-infused latte was contained in such a cool container!
Iced rum-infused latte is so good! You can taste the flavor of rum when u drink the latte but it actually has no alcohol in it. It’s just bc the coffee beans were soaked in rum during the processing of the beans.
The chocolate chip cookies smelled so good, tasted good too, but just too sweet for me (I got an East Asian mouth).“

It’s always fun to take the ferry across from Manhattan to the Pepsi Cola Sign and walk a couple of blocks. The Forest pizza is a fav, definitely recommend, and their seasonal specials are always worth checking out. For drinks try out an amaro or the Little Italy. Just don’t go when we’re going, so it’s easier for us to get a table ;)“

“One of the best Kbbq if not the best kbbq restaurant I’ve ever been to. The eel was so fresh, the short rib was marinated to perfection. But the best thing on the table was the kimchi. The kimchi was crunchy, it was seasoned perfectly, and it was fermented just enough to pair perfectly with the proteins. The hospitality was amazing! The lady treated our party like her relatives and showed us what’s real hospitality is. My friends and I love how kind she was to us and we could not ask for a better meal. “Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning.
