BunNan is the spot for Haitian food. The food is delicious, wonderfully made, and amazing. The oxtail rice bowl is a must, and the jerk plantain sandwich and patés are also delicious. The menu is diverse and interesting. The atmosphere is welcoming with an overall cozy vibe, and games on the table keep hands busy while waiting. The service is excellent, very professional, and very attentive. Shout to Jimmy, Pow Pow, and Germany for the incredible service. The owner is incredibly welcoming and recommended dishes. Some reviews mention a consistency problem, with one sandwich feeling like a big slab of jerk seasoning, but the chicken had a nice balance of flavor and heat. The appetizer plantain cup with chicken, rice bowl of fried goat with sweet plantains, and diri djon djon are also recommended. Great music and great service.
