Love Swoony's—went in to split the burger, kale salad, and lobster riso. Our server (who has waited on us a few times now) is such a pro—brought separate plates without asking, and was overall just on top of it. Love having this place in our neighborhood.
Awesome backyard covered patio atmosphere in an Italian Plaza style. Fabulous drinks. Attentive staff. Delicious traditional Italian dishes. They’re sponsoring my kid’s baseball team too. Good times!
My new favorite restaurant in the city. The ambiance is perfect - energetic, while still being able to hear the person across from you, the service is excellent, and the food is the best meal I've had at a restaurant in a long time. It was impossible to choose between the specials and the classics, but everything we ordered was perfect. My one and only complaint is that I selfishly wish it was in Brooklyn Heights so I could pop in for a drink more often!

Swoony's is a must-visit restaurant with amazing food and even better service. The burger is truly outstanding, with its smash patty style, thousand island dressing, and unique Portuguese bun that’s pillowy and soft. The martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives and creamed spinach are highly recommended, along with the lobster risotto and clams casino. The kale Caesar salad is a winner—cheesy but not overpowering. The space is elevated casual, and the cocktails are raved about. Service is great, and the hostess Carla was amazing. The clams casino is one of the best dishes, and the prawns are good. The lobster orzo was surprisingly underseasoned, though some found it creamy with big chunks of lobster. The burger was good but not amazing, and the fries were not the best side for the short rib su louvre. The portions are a little small, but delicious. The Greek salad with toasted pita is the best Greek salad.
