So there was Mole on the menu as a special with enchilada and it was like "abuelita esta en la cocina". Drinks were great, food and service was great.Nice views of the harbor and lower Manhattan.Alma is a comfy place it is not a fancy place.Great food. Sadly, the food was trash. Fish tacos were like rubber. Shrimp tacos were very mediocre. Guacamole ($15) was fine, nothing special. Elote (corn) also super lazy. Drinks were good though. And of course the city view from upstairs is spectacular. Worth coming here for drinks, but between Red Hook and Carroll Gardens, there's many other much better food options nearby. Food, service & ambiance were all outstanding. Well-prepared fresh food, gentle, attentive but not intrusive service and the sunset view from the 3rd floor was delightful. Street parking was easy.
