“Cute spot for a quick empanada snack; there are no indoor seating. The ropa vieja empanada was delicious. Not big on the carnita as it's not as flavorful as the other empanadas. Each flavor of empanada has a marking on it just in case you forget which one is which when you take them out of the separated bags . Chicken noodle soup is tomato based.“

“Went to the brand new Houston location and things are a bit rocky with staffing and supplies but I want to brag on your employee CAMILLA ! We came from NC and after visiting Puerto Rico several times I was so excited for this experience! She was so patient with us! Answered all our questions with a very helpful and cheerful attitude even tho she was drowning in drink orders! With only one other helper, she never showed any frustration and provided excellent above and beyond customer service! The cashier with her was brand new and super sweet as well! Camilla even gave me a hug when we left! She made my whole morning! And gave us the absolute best breakfast recommendation as well! Thank u so much Camilla for your grace and kindness this morning. U had no idea that my Morning started out so crappy, and your sweet personality and loving spirit really turned my day around and the tres leches latte was AMAZING 🙌🏼🩷💯 yall go see them and be patient …..it’s worth the wait ❤️ side note… the whole place is decorated beautifully! “I had a lot of fun. I ordered the caesar salad, amongst other things. It’s served with a spoon, which makes you go “Hm what is the spoon for?” It made for a fun little challenge at first (granted, I grazed and took about 2 hours to finish my meal) but once you get the hang of it, it’s like oh wow. Dressing was the standout; unique and memorable. Definitely one of the most interesting Caesar salads I’ve had. I had fun“

Vegetarian options: It is not a restaurant focused on vegetarian food but they sell salads, juices and a person who does not eat meat can still enjoy a good meal.

Kid-friendliness: It is a clean, quiet place, the staff is friendly and polite and the restaurant in my opinion does not represent any risk for a minor.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have a ramp so that a person in a wheelchair or other device that supports walking has the accessibility of being able to enter the premises without major difficulties.“

“I ordered a burrito and an empanada, the burrito transported me back to my days in LA surviving off of burrito trucks . The empanada was up there with the best I've ever had. The crust was sturdy but proved fluffy, when bitten into. The filling was delicious, even if it wasn't copious (what do you expect in this economy). If I had had ordered a bottle of Jarritos, I would have known when I ordered it that it's not a twist off.“
