love to hang here for a coffee while i work - highly recc the kale Caesar salad with chicken. staff is always so nice!
I have loved coming here since I first discovered Hide and Seek. I started to come two years ago which gradually led to meet ups for book club, live music, catchups with friends, and just enjoying the best food/drinks. This week my partner had a venue close down their spot on the day of their birthday and two days before their birthday party. I hosted a party with about 30 people here and could not have asked for a better venue. The owner Mitchell was extremely helpful and kind regarding all my questions leading up to the day and the staff went above and beyond in making the experience as smooth as possible. I especially loved that they allowed a homemade cake and that there was no minimum spend or reservation fee. There was plenty of space to mingle without it feeling too empty at any point. Hide & Seek is a cozy café in Greenpoint with a friendly atmosphere, perfect for chilling with friends, working from, or sitting and reading. They offer a variety of teas, coffees, sandwiches, salads, alcohol, and unique cocktails, with the hibiscus margarita standing out as a favorite. The homemade strawberry and hibiscus iced tea was delicious. Whether it's a latte and a donut during the day or cocktails in the evening, Hide & Seek is a must-visit spot. The sandwich (Kale Caesar) and the salad (Turkey Dijon) were incredible! Spacious with WiFi, the café also has board games and plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot to work or relax. The hot cider was so deliciously sweet. The café is dog-friendly and welcoming, with lots of sofas and comfy chairs. There was one person that appeared to be running the show on a busy Saturday afternoon but she was so friendly and kind despite it.
