From the first day I tried the empanadas at Hester Street on the lower east side it was love at the very first bite! Jose and Pedro are the best and most friendly brothers you will ever meet. They haven't forgotten me from the first day and I won't forget the delicious empanadas either or them! They make deliveries, cater and have many pop ups if you are ever in the area where their pop ups are. Jose catered our office business lunch for 20 people. We couldn’t have been happier. He helped us plan the menu, order the perfect amount of food and even took a change order to up the amount two days before. The food arrived hot, was beautifully packed and delicious. Please note that you can never order enough empanadas. Comunication was outstanding. We can’t wait to do it again!

We order empanada papa for our department meetings for a large hospital. Everyone is always so thankful for the delicious, fresh, and warm empanadas, beans , rice , and plantains and the special sauces! We order at least monthly and they have vegan - chicken- beef options and more. 10/10 recommend !
