Rear patio ambiance was delightful with a romantic and cozy vibe for sipping cocktails and sharing food. The beef was perfectly cooked moist and tender and dipped in salsa and butter roasted yucca flour had nice texture. Duck confetti tacos delicious. The Pina Y Pepino cocktail tasted fresh and satisfying.

Enjoyed a fantastic brunch in their indoor greenhouse, a bright space to enjoy food and conversation. The brunch menu provides creative and delicious takes on Latin American dishes that will definitely have me coming back for more. I ordered the Huitlacoche Breakfast Arepa which was savory and fresh with just the right amount of kick.

Not much care put into the food or hospitality.

What a wonderful little restaurant! The shrimp tacos were perfect, and my endive salad was light and delicious. Charming outside garden seating and our lovely server Serena made the meal delightful!

Amazing! Food is flavorful and delicious. Our server Juju was attentive and made great recommendations. The backyard is beautiful, great atmosphere. The gin martini was perfect. We shared the Frijoles, shrimp tacos and the chicken. Highly recommend!

FOOD & SANITATION : UNSANITORY -wanted to try this place. Food tasted really good until I found hair in my breakfast taco(1 out of 3 tacos). They said sorry and gave another taco to replace, I was shocked as they didn't even offer to take the entire meal off the menu. It must happen too often as they didn't care as much. SERVICE: waitress couldnt explain wine list (type of wine, flavor) didn't know ingredients of dishes. Overall, not knowledgeable about the menu and seemed slow to react. I really liked the wine, cocktails and food, however I won't be able to come back after finding HAIR in my food.

Truly a case of "I don't get it". Not in the sense that Colonia Verde is bad, because it's not, but it certainly doesn't live up to the hyperbolic reviews here either. Everything we ordered from the endive salad swimming in ranch to the "cheesy bread" was decidedly fine, but it all had a veneer of feeling like something you would get at an elevated Chili's. The pepper pasta and chicken were pretty good, and the space is lovely, but looking at the gushing reviews leaves me confused. Colonia Verde is a stepabove in terms of ambiance, and middle of the road as a kitchen.

Excellent service, staff, and menus. Best carajillo in Brooklyn. Colonia Verde is my favorite brunch spot.

"Enjoyed delicious food at this neighborhood atmospheric gem, but the experience was marred by our waiter's cold demeanor. Our waiter, Jacob, lack the warmth and attentiveness expected from the standing this establishment aspires to, making the visit less than welcoming. Ultimately, the disappointing service overshadowed the culinary treat, and we wouldn’t necessarily go back given other options in the neighborhood offer similar food quality with better service. The hostess at door was lovely though, to her credit.”

Hello fellow restauranteur, this review is about to dive into the reasons I have to believe that Colonia Verde is a caliber above all else. Yes, that’s right. Bold statement alert: best restaurant in Brooklyn? I think yes. Slay-standing service, molecular energy, rustic atmosphere (vibe) inviting romance, all traits they have, yet aren’t what’s important here. What’s important is the perfectly thought out the menu, cohesive flavors and flawless execution from the chefs. Thank you for the premier experience. Rock On??

Blood Mary, maybe because I ordered non-alcoholic, I felt like I was drinking sauce. The duck is very soft and goes perfectly with the cornflakes underneath. , the sauce is also quite delicious. The dessert was served before I finished the last dish. By the time I finished, the dessert had melted. The waiter couldn't see me at all. I sat outside and no one came over after I finished eating. In the end, I asked the staff to move things.
