“I’m new to the Neighbourhood, but I just found my new spot. Tommy’s deli Is a nice convenient and well Established. The owner Angela was very nice very respectful and the way she ran her business and the entire presentation is a five out of five. It’s A+. She’s a great individual.
More so I had a dilemma and I just casually run it up with her, A stranger that just met while she was making me a sandwich
She gave me amazing advice and she made me feel a whole lot better About myself

“Excellent variety of feta cheese, at least 6. I don't buy feta from the supermarket, it's a waste of money, only from here. The frozen feta/ spinach pies an amazing easy dinner for both family and friends. The olives are amazing. I shop here at least once/ months. Parking in the back. Prices are good.“

“This is the best place ive been to and the ordering is great!!. The workers there are so nice and friendly and if something goes wrong they will try to make it right just got you. And the place is clean they always clean the place they mop and brush the floor, clean the windows. The supplies are usually restocked . If they have it in the back or somewhere they will check and no if there its not because no one wants it its because they care about you and what we need and want because I go there almost everyday they have orders to restock everything AT LEAST 2-3 ( key word: AT LEAST). The location of it is also really good because it's on Myrtle Avenue where there are of course so many people going to so many different places. “I have tried this restaurant several times, and I must say my experience has been completely positive. From the very first time I walked in, I felt this was a different kind of place. The interior is simple and unpretentious, but the smell of the food coming from the kitchen keeps you there.

Let me start with the good things. The Chopped Cheese sandwich here is truly outstanding. I have tried this sandwich at several different places in New York, and I can honestly say this is one of the best I have ever had. The ground meat, melted cheese, onions, and fresh bread come together and create a flavor that makes you want to come back. Every time I come here, the first thing I order is this. Their bread is fresh and soft, and the meat is cooked well — not dry, not raw. The cheese melts completely and spreads evenly over the ingredients.

The omelets here are also good, especially the cheese and vegetable omelet, which is both fresh and generously portioned. I usually come in the morning and order an omelet, and I have always been satisfied. The eggs are fresh and the vegetables they put inside are not wilted. The breakfast sandwiches are also a good option, like the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which is filling and hearty.

The fresh juices are also a good choice for breakfast or an afternoon snack. I have ordered fresh orange juice several times and it has always been fresh and cold. Their smoothies are not bad either, especially on a hot day.

One of the things that makes this place special for me is the speed of service. Even when it is busy, they prepare your order quickly and you do not have to wait very long. The staff are usually friendly, and if you have a question, they answer.

This restaurant is open 24 hours, which makes it a good option for anyone who gets hungry in the middle of the night. I have gone late at night several times and it has always been open with food available. This is very valuable to me, because there are not many places that are always open and also have good food.

The prices, in my opinion, are reasonable. For the quality you get, you are not paying much. Of course, I always look at the menu before ordering and then place my order. I have never had a problem.

The seating area inside is small, but clean and tidy. They clean the tables quickly and the staff pay attention to cleanliness. It is a good spot for a quick sit-down meal.

Overall, I recommend this restaurant for its Chopped Cheese and its breakfast. If you are in the Queens area, definitely give it a try. I have always left this place satisfied, and I am sure that if you try it, you will not be disappointed.“

“Love the place you could find a lot of El Salvador starting with fruit to all the ingredients to prepare the delicious pupusas and if you don't know how to make them they will make them for you everyone there are great but you don't have to believe me come visit“

“Great Place! The Proprietor and his family (& staff) are great people. Have been coming here since ~2011, when in the area (sometime A LOT). Delicious Hot Food (Spanish), made daily. Big Selection of Deli Items. Some seats & tables in the back to cool your heels. Always good prices compared to other places in the area. This should be the go-to place if staying at the Marriott Hotel down the block or headed toward Citi Field (The Stadium of the Mets). Or even if staying at the Holiday Inn a few blocks away (the place down the block from the Holiday Inn bases their prices on what you are wearing, no lie). But this place is great (the prices are on the items)! Stop in and ask them what happened to the pool table (they made room for more items)!“

“Solid family owned deli, the Middle Aged guy behind counter can be very cold but it's whatever. The customer service at Peters Deli is way better but other than that the sandwiches here are very good. The only thing I would say I don't like is that you can't see the kitchen which is worrying, I don't think the place is dirty, but it's nice when you can see the kitchen to confirm if it's clean or not. Other items are pretty overpriced like candies and what not.“

“Honestly I went it. They were confused at first what I meant by I want a double poop scoop on the side with mayo cheese mustard and some watered down poop. I asked the guy at the front. He has some poop in store. Great service I got my poop. But they went a little low on the poop but that’s okay as long as I got my poop. On the poop quality solid 6/10.“

“I was at first adamant about not going to this place because of the reviews…today I was really craving pupusas so I decided to go….in Flushing we don’t really have that many hispanic options so did not really have many other options to chose from.

I’m not big on reviewing but after visiting this place and seeing how different reality is from what people post on reviews I had to take the time to post my 5 star review. I will start by saying people have NO empathy what so ever of how a negative review can impact a business.

I am pleasantly surprised as the whole experience surpassed by far the low expectations I had. I came in for take-out and was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The place was packed, the lady who took my order was really nice (way nicer than what I would expect for NY) she asked me how I wanted my pupusas. When the order was ready she called my name and charged me. I paid $8 for 2 pupusas and a Canada Dry Seltzer, to my understanding this price was fine compared to what I am used to pay in NYC…please you go into Starbucks and easily spend $25 on liquid and whipped cream.

My order came with all the same sides they put in El Salvador, flavor was really good and fresh, the place was clean and even has a few tables for those who prefer to eat there. Its like a small Salvadorian deli…they also sell fresh Salvadorian products. I will definitely be back.“
