We had limited time in NYC, so every place we visited had to count, and Sergimmo’s did not disappoint. I had a Caesar salad, while my son had a Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico. The store is immaculate and the Korean food is not to be missed. The Bulgogi hero is my favorite go to sandwhich....Highly recommend !“

“I’ve been to Bombom a few times now and it’s always a great experience. I recently got two sandwiches from here and they were really good, made just right. The cashier is always friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference. They also carry a variety of snacks, and they’re happy to accommodate special requests as best they can. Overall, it’s a solid local deli with good food and great service. Highly recommend! They also have a Cat she’s awesome and friendly .“

Five varieties of prosciutto to choose from and extremely sharp aged provolone and parmesagna are the real deal. Long serving deli staff are friendly and attentive, knowing their customers and their preferences. Around the holidays the deli has all the traditional Christmas foods especially panettone galore! The tops of the shelves fill with hundreds of Italian panettone of many elegant varieties: limoncello, hazelnut, pistachio, latte, nutella, even gluten free ppannetone. Prices are a little higher than surrounding import markets but not unmanageable so. This deli is a treasure of Broadway and a perennial favorite.“

“Got a bacon egg and cheese saltpepperhotsauce on a roll and a large coffee for $7 before tax.

Sandwich was fine, nothing exceptional, light bacon, but it was $5 so no complaints. She put a lot of hot sauce which I like, some might not.

I asked how much it would be to add a hash brown and they said $3 extra. For a hash brown? Maybe they thought a side of hash browns or something idk but 3 bucks for a fried potato patty was kind of insane to me so I obviously skipped it.

Also, the coffee had so much milk. I asked for “just a little little bit of milk” while holding up my pinched fingers as I always do, and this coffee is creamy my dude.

While waiting for my order, an older Italian man came in and asked for a small coffee, and he said “please not too much milk just small milk” and the guy said ok but the Italian man said again, kind of intensely, please not too much milk. At the time I didn’t think anything of it, I was kinda like chill pops I think he heard you, but after sipping my coffee in the car I think the dude just puts way too much milk in the coffee and I get where Nonno is coming from.

Anyway random bodega I hit while passing through and needed a quick breakfast.

Arrived as tourist and left feeling local.The guys here sorted out anything we needed any time any day, literally got treat like royalty with the staff.The food is impeccable, I was told to try a chopped cheese on my travels, I had nothing to compare it to, but delivered! But then I realized I accidentally ordered the vegetarian breakfast burrito and it added $2, plus I added salsa verde ($1). So I guess the original with meat which I intended to get is $13, which is still on the pricey side. However, it was so delicious and I honestly had no idea the tofu based faux meat was not real chorizo plus I’m full so I can’t complain too much. The salsa verde was soo good, it’s more of a salsa verde crema and paired really nicely with the spicy chorizo so highly recommend adding it. Ordered for delivery directly from their site and it was pretty fast, came earlier than their eta. Overall very happy about this new addition to the neighborhood as I’m a big fan of their original restaurant. Will be trying their other stuff!“

“I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“
