(They use regionally sourced Dietz and Watson and even have grass fed burgers) Other delis, restaurants, or any other type of business for that matter, take note - this is how it's done. “When I come in I am always treated with respect and the owner and his wife are always respectful. I’m surprised by other peoples comments. This is the fourth time I come in and this time I asked for a western omelette with egg whites and avocado ohh yeah and I added some jalapeños. This order comes also with two slices of buttered bread. Let me tell you it was delicious and it was just $8! Can’t get better than that!“

“The store is small and plenty of items available. I have bought turkey wraps and salads from this spot. Prices are reasonable. The wraps are made fresh and pretty thick with deli meat. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes. Good place to get a quick bite to eat or the many beverages available“
“We were staying at the nearby hotels. During a walk around the area found this deli. Wanted something for breakfast, so we went inside and got breakfast sandwiches. They were very good and the prices were very reasonable. Workers were very friendly. The deli also sells drink and household items.“

“They're very clean and the food is actually good like a restaurant, not deli. I like the variety of options from breakfast to dinner like the lamb. My favorite is the halal chicken salad with chickpeas corn black Olive and pickles and also the chicken tenders with fries“

“The sandwiches are decent enough. The Bayside breakfast wrap is almost perfect, but the one thing holding it back is the potatoes they put inside. The potatoes are big pieces, mushy and pretty bland… because they are such large chunks they don’t get enough of the seasoning distribution you’d get if you chopped them up small and made them crispy.The people who work here are very nice, and they also keep a surprising stock of groceries and decent beers (though kinda pricey).“

“Couple of seats inside and out if you want to eat there. Plenty of street parking and it's located across the street from a playground. On to the food, I got the beef steak platter and it was very flavorful! There were 4 - 5 pieces of very thin marinated steak. My only issue was it was quite tough. The yellow rice and bean paste was delicious as well. Included was a salad and either bread or tortilla. I recommend the bread since it was buttered and toasted on the griddle. Was pleasantly surprised with the variety for $13. Staff was pretty friendly even though there was minimal interaction. Mostly just to order and pay for the food. Oh, aside from the toughness of the steak, I just wished there was some more rice and bean paste. The amount of steak was fine. Will definitely come back“
“while doing my sunday morning shopping in astoria i made a stop at fresh deli and grill for a egg white on a hero and ice cofffee. good size well stocked deli with the typical deli stuff and the grill is working non stop for the in and out crowd .a few chairs outside to sit and enjoy especially on nice weather days. good food. good drink and for under 10 bucks , its well worth it. good neighborhood deli in astoria that has the grill ready to work.“

“10/10 experience overall. The woman that served me was so kind and patient. I didn't expect anything less. Only heard great things about this place. The oxtail mac patty is RIDICULOUSLY GOOD. The combination of everything is mindblowing. Best oxtail I've ever tasted. The buttahflap that encloses the patty, macaroni & cheese, and oxtail is the best finishing touch. All these flavors. Crazy! The place itself is cozy and unique. I love the colorful artwork on the side of the building. Will be back again and again!“

We had the chips and guacamole along with the frijoles, then I had fish tacos and my partner had the chicken. We also had mojitos which were delicious. It made me want to order online, which I wanted to avoid. Then I looked up this place and was surprised to see that they carried the exact brand I was looking for.For those who are moving into the neighborhood, it is definitely worth checking out local specialty stores, rather than defaulting to your Whole Foods, Amazon, Target etc. I will definitely be shopping here in the near future to try more stuff.“
“Best chicken cutlet in the area. Left a note for an order specification that they were not seeing (that I was not aware about). I left a lower than usual review because it was happening more than once as I am a regular customer. Immediately they were on it. The next time I placed an order I received a phone call from the owner herself to make sure they knew what went wrong and how they could fix it. This business truly values their customers and really go the extra mile. Great food and great people make for a great experience! Highly recommend to all in the bayside area!“
