Finding a genuinely great banh mi right now is like finding a legal parking spot in NYC, highly contested, and an absolute miracle when you finally do. Banh Mi TBD is that miracle.

Came across this restaurant on instagram and decided to make the trek to try it since we don’t live near any good viet places. It was worth the trip! We tried the crispy pork banh mi and the lemongrass beef banh mi, both were so flavorful. The bread was just the right crispiness (aka doesn’t cut up my mouth). Will come back to try out their desserts!

Special Banh mi was really good with lots of meat, bread had a nice crunch on the outside while soft on the inside, ordered the fried bananas which had a coconut dipping sauce which was delicious, the staff is very nice, I look forward to trying the other snack items and I will definitely come back

Banh Mi TBD is a restaurant that serves authentic Banh Mi. The baguette has a perfect crunch on the outside while soft on the inside. The Classic Banh Mi is packed with the exact right ratio of savory meats to fresh, pickled veggies. The Special Banh Mi is really good with lots of meat, and the pate is amazing. The Grilled Chicken Banh Mi and the lemongrass beef banh mi are both very good and flavorful. The crispy pork banh mi is also flavorful. The empanada is fantastic, filled with minced beef, scallions, and a quail egg. The fried bananas with a coconut dipping sauce are delicious. The Limeade has a unique sour flavor, and the Vietnamese iced coffee is so strong. The Vietnamese spring rolls were not quite to one's usual taste. The place is small with only a few tables shared with other stalls in a food court, so it is better to come in smaller groups. The staff is friendly and very nice, and the service is quite fast. The food is a 11/10, and the flavors all worked well together with each bite. This is the spot for the real deal and actual authentic flavors.
