About Henan Feng Wei

Henan Feng Wei is a hidden gem that serves delicious food with generous portions. The noodles and mutton rou jia mo are standouts, while the lamb noodle soup and lamb burger are also excellent. The staff is welcoming, and prices are great. The restaurant focuses on noodles, soups, dumplings, and the popular lamb burger. The primary noodles are flour-based and handmade, resulting in a doughy texture. The lamb noodle soup features a mild broth with chunks of lamb, mushrooms, and seaweed, adding elements of umami. The spicy cumin lamb burger is aggressively seasoned but not overly spicy, making it a simple yet delicious option. The restaurant offers a small menu with some English writing, making it accessible for non-Chinese speakers. Despite the piddling atmosphere, the quick service and delicious food make Henan Feng Wei a hidden gem worth visiting. Customers praise the best hand-pulled noodle soup, outstanding fast service, and delicious food, though note the cash-only policy and concerns about the bathroom cleanliness.

Wow! $10 lamb soup with hand pulled noodles. I didn't think I would like lamb soup, but it's amazing! The staff speak minimal english, but are super friendly. No plastic bowls if you want to avoid microplastics. No need to tip as you pick up your own bowl from the counter. 10/10 if you just want a chill spot, only a few mins from the hustle and bustle of main st.

Pleasantly surprised by this small niche restaurant! It was recommended to me, and I actually walked right by it at first—good thing a family member was with me and led me back. It’s tucked off to the side near apartment buildings rather than on a main street, and you go down a short flight of stairs to get in, so it’s pretty easy to miss.

The large Lamb Noodle Soup is $10 and the portion is really generous. The hand-pulled noodles are super good, chewy and satisfying,...read full review

The guy that pulls the noodles was so nice! He was smiling and friendly. That alone made me trust the place and made it welcoming to me. I got the hand pulled noodles. The soup and meat were amazing. As soon as I drank it I was looking forward to coming back! There was a very old Chinese movie playing on the tv that made it nostalgic and I’m not even Chinese- this place is a vibe!
