I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a place that serves real Greek cuisine with heart and care, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!“

I was there yesterday (July 13) and ordered several of their delicious sandwiches, a Cubano to die for, and my beet and goat cheese salad!
You are the best deli artisan sandwich establishment I have ever been to. I’ve had some sandwiches, but your sandwiches, all the combos, and salad are amazing.
Oh yeah, and your extra-large muffins and everything—oh my God, this is fantastic. Your place is tremendous.

“Been here a few times. Usually come here for their vegetable omelette platter which include mushroom and peppers home fries , Israeli salad and whole wheat bagel. Healthy breakfast options available for reasonable pricing. Can get a little busy so if you order ahead might be better.“

“They just revamped their menu and I’m all here for it! My favorites were the rice noodle rolls wrapped with tofu, bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots and preserved radish, Thai beef stew and the Panang short ribs. The beef stew was SO tender and collagen rich, literally every bite was melt in your mouth. Short ribs, also as expected, tender and flavorful. The Thai ice cream was a perfect finish - sweet toppings, cold coconut ice cream, warm pandan sticky rice - all different flavors and textures but all work together in harmony.“

“When going through the vegan options in LaGuardia, I was surprised to see much more limited choices than I would expect. I had lunch at Green Leaf’s. They had impossible as an option, but it was naturally vegetarian. The staff were on top of it though. They asked if I was vegan and then switched the pita for a wrap, removed cheese and sour cream and freely subbed in hummus and balsamic. “I swear my friends and I could live here. We’ve been coming to Madonna almost since their open… for dinner, for the pregame, for the many of birthdays, for the afters. The staff is a huge part of our experience and why it’s always first on our list. “We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. “Ruth was so nice to me and my friends,the poke bowls here strike that rare balance between generous and fresh — the tuna practically glistens, cut into thick, clean cubes that taste like they were swimming that morning, while the salmon has a buttery richness that holds its own against the tangy ponzu drizzle. Build-your-own bowls are a joy rather than a chore: the rice is properly seasoned (not an afterthought), the mango and edamame add real brightness, and the crispy garlic and furikake toppings earn their place instead of feeling like filler. Portions are big enough to leave you satisfied without the heavy, sluggish feeling you get from a lot of quick-service lunch spots, and the prices feel fair for the quality of fish you're getting. My only gripe is the seating — a handful of cramped stools near the window — but honestly, this place is worth getting as takeout and eating somewhere with a view. “This is only the second time I've gone to a Just Salad and I had such a fantastic experience at this location. So I want to shout out Kevin for his outstanding customer service!

I walked in when there wasn't any line in front of me and Kevin greeted me instantly and asked if I was ready to order or if I needed a little more time. I asked if I could get a market plate with extra rice, and he was incredibly accommodating. He mentioned it was absolutely possible, just noting that the lid might have trouble closing, and thoughtfully offered to put the extra rice on the side as an alternative.

When I asked for a market plate recommendation and mentioned I already tried the Gochujang Chicken, he quickly suggested the Peruvian Chicken market plate as a popular alternative. (He was right, it’s really good!) The main braised chicken happened to be out, so he checked in with me to see if substituting the Gochujang chicken would be okay instead.

I also asked about using my app coupon for some soup. Kevin was so nice to check the soup for me, and although the soup I wanted was out for the day, he let me know that my coupon was still good for up to a month so I wouldn't lose out.

Honestly, Kevin was incredibly friendly and helpful from tip to tail of the entire experience. Stellar service like his is exactly why I'll definitely continue coming back here!“

“I went to a this deli on my bday trip, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it completely ruined every other deli sandwich for me.

Small place but seriously mighty. No fluff, no gimmicks, just unreal, farm-to-table food done right.

The meatball sandwich? I think about it daily. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and messy in the best way. The kind of sandwich you don’t forget. And the Burrata sandwich was just as incredible, packed with flavor and made with so much care you can taste it in every bite.

You can tell the ingredients are fresh and thoughtfully sourced. It makes a difference.

“Really great experience here. Lauren took care of us and was honestly a huge part of why the night was so enjoyable. Super personable, easy to talk to, and just made us feel really comfortable the whole time. My daughter loved her and keeps asking when we’re going back to see her again .You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it really made the experience stand out. I got the spicy miso ramen and the tatsuta-age. The ramen was surprisingly not heavy at all and was on the blander side but I actually liked that a lot. The tatsuta-age was super crispy and tender! The sauce was really unique in a good way. The portions are also HUGE!“
