“My son and I went here after I did my research to find the best delis in Hell’s Kitchen, and this was consistently the top answer. We had limited time in NYC, so every place we visited had to count, and Sergimmo’s did not disappoint. I had a Caesar salad, while my son had a Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico. Both were great, and so was the shop owner’s treatment of us, obviously not from around the area. Next time we’re in NYC, we’ll be back!“

“Honestly, a stunning gem of a neighborhood restaurant. I loved their beet salad with dates, the dates were so soft and juicy. The pork chop was very good, but just a little bit dry for my taste. The desserts were smashingly good, we had the olive oil cake with cream in a prune sauce, as well as the coffee mousse. Would highly recommend!“

“Finally made it to Salvo’s and it did not disappoint. Serving some truly delicious sandwiches- we shared the mortadella with burrata/pistachio pesto and the eggplant parm. Hands down the best eggplant parm I’ve ever had. Such a beautifully curated space, feels special but not pretentious. You could tell everything was made with the freshest/high quality ingredients and the utmost care. Can’t wait to go back!“

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. “This was the warm Italian hug I was wanting on our recent trip to NY. We were at the MOMI down the street, and had made reservations for dinner at Sac's after the museum. We had tired, hungry tummies, and were a good hour from our original reservation time. The good people over at Sac's accommodated my family immediately, and with pleasure! The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, inviting, and straight up authentic..this coming from a Sicilian girl with olive oil in her veins. My family ordered a variety of dishes, each one spectacular! 2 different pizza's, fried zucchini, sausage, and the BEST shrimp scampi I have ever eaten! The staff treated us like family, and were super attentive, anticipating our needs, and not missing a beat. At the end of our meal, Domenico Sacramone, one of the owners came by our table to chat, it was lovely and greatly appreciated! That's the extra touch of love, and attention someone who really cares about their business, and their customers puts out! It was genuine, and made the experience that much better! If we were locals, this would be our weekly dinner spot! Thank you to all over at Sac's Place for a wonderful meal, and a fantastic dining experience! We will most definitely be back“
