My church had a farewell breakfast for my pastor.We ordered from the Goldmine. They were wonderful and the food was delicious.They were on time with the delivery. We ordered for 50 people. We had enough that some went back for seconds and third helping. The manager and workers were wonderful.We will definitely use them again.
THE STAFF is rude as hell .I sat down asked for menus and the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes and has a full Blown attitude the waitress lady I asked for menu she turned her back and said I had to wait mind u she turned her back to drink her personal water then got an attitude
I proceeded to ask the girl at the counter if I could place my order with her and boom attitude 101 so I got my tacos and left definitely don't recommend this place.

Goldmine Cafe is a small area great for going by yourself or a small, intimate group. The food is 10/10 with a lot of good food options. Everything is fresh, well prepared, hot, and delicious. The eggplant parm, spinach pie, beef gyro deluxe with fries, and Greek salad are all recommended. The strawberry cheesecake is the best, and a donut and coffee are also available. The male server with dark hair is very kind and competent, and the waitress is respectful and responsible. The restaurant features beautiful wall paintings of the Dodecanese island of Kasos and Athens. However, the spanakopita can be mushier and more peppery than preferred, and the home fries can be flat and unremarkable. Some issues include not delivering to locations a couple of miles away and charging for food that could not be delivered without a refund. The cafe is convenient, right by the entrance of the 231 Street train stop, and the hours cannot be beat. The price is great, making it the best cafe in the area for breakfast.
