“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“This family owned deli has been upgrading their services, their quality of food every year for the past 6 yrs. I totally recommend anyone to visit the store. Two brother work hard and represent the community to their very best. They are good friendly very understanding people who helps the community in any way they can. The salads (macaroni, potato, Cole slaw) that came along with the order were on point! For reference we had the Marco Polo, siciliano, pork sliders, and the mini sandwiches ( one full tray of vegetarian) EVERYONE came over to us to say how delicious everything was. “Excellent salad bar and cold food section. Vast selection of beverages, chips and snacks. Hot and cold roll or hero sandwiches made to order, as well as hot food dishes. Staff isn't very friendly, but they are efficient. The deli is next to a medical office building, so parking is tough.

Vegetarian options: Excellent salad bar options.“

“Basic deli, similar to a convenient store. Super friendly staff, fresh made EVERYTHING. Incredibly close to Yankee Stadium. Great place to stop for a quick sandwich before the games. They also serve a great selection of daily hot foods. Try the SPECIAL herbed oil.“

The owner and stuff were always helpful with choice and quantity we needed. They also accommodate special requests regarding allergies and dietary restrictions. Make sure to go early to get the best service, the afternoon isn't the best. Usually pretty calm. With the problem around 2-3 pm which is when the highschoolers get out. All said, pretty good.“

“The lady in the back of the store sells Dominican food & it is delicious! I usually get stew chicken with white rice & beans & it's $7. You can't go wrong! I have had other meats that she has available but the stew chicken is my favorite! Even when I am working in Lower Manhattan, my co worker & I will come all the way up to The Bronx to get this delicious Dominican food! It also come with a free bottle of water. You can't wait too later because once it's gone, it's gone! They also have Halal options & of course they have the typical deli food!“

The electronics they have include wireless earphones and chargers for your smart device. They also make very good Grilled Chicken Salad. By looking at the various canned goods for a decent price. This deli, and other good deli's, sell useful canned goods, electronics, bath products, and drinks for a good price. Deli's are good for the neighborhood, in which many products would be a bit more costly in brand stores. For example, buying a shampoo product, Pantene, in a deli, would be good for your wallet than buying it in its own brand store or in a beauty and cosmetics store. Support our delis!“

“For a deli the food is what you would expect. The cooks are polite and fast. A lot of options but could use more and needs to update the food board menu. They don't have a fryer so I couldn't get French Fries as an option with my burger. Things like that they should look into updating.“

“Excellent take out home cooked meal style food. I love and buy the salmon piece which is huge and is $8. I also get chicken cutlets for the kids. The cabbage and side items also look good but I just add at home a side and the meal is done. Also the coffee is my favorite in the neighborhood. Muffins melt in my mouth particularly the corn and chocolate chip. They should have more chocolate chip or maybe not bc I would buy and eat it more. There food is great home cooked style for a FAIR price. I’m so glad they are in my neighborhood.“

“Stopped here for breakfast on a trip to Fordham. Ordered bacon, egg, cheese and hash brown on a Kaiser roll.

I got exactly what one wants from an NYC Bodega/Deli egg sandwich.

The bacon was meaty/salty/smokey. The yellow American cheese was gooey. The hash brown was crispy. The griddled eggs were fluffy.

Or course, after they cook it, they wrap it in foil, which is part of what makes the sandwich great: While I walked five to ten minutes to find a bench on which to sit down and eat, the residual heat and steam warmed the roll so the gluten was amplified and the bread got chewy.

“This is a great deli. The place is modern and has a wide selection. There is coffee, milk, and sandwiches. It's close to a school. They even have slushies and a freezer. I like this deli the most on the main street. It's a great deli.

The store was clean, well lit, and organized.

I ordered a Goodfella on a roll and it went well above my expectations. Service from the deli clerk and cashier was quick, friendly, and professional.

It’s not the cheapest deli however you get a good value in my opinion. I would definitely go back if I’m in the area again.“

“Been coming here since I was a kid, it is a very quaint place that I frequent. They sell most things, make smoothies, as well as cook good food in the back. I've never seen them be rude to anyone in my many years of going there. The shop can get a bit cramped so watch your shoulders and be polite to everyone there.“

“I walk by this place everyday and stopped in one day to try the food because I was hungry and just got off the train. I was hesitant at first because I read the reviews and people complained about the food and service. I wanted to try for myself and see.

The place is clean and well organized. They also have plenty of menu items. I ordered the steak and cheese with pepper jack cheese and everything on it and a side of fries.
The cook was attentive and friendly. The steak and cheese was probably the best that I have had since I moved back to NYC.. I just moved from Florida.

The fries were not as good though which is why I took away a star. I love French fries and they tasted like they were warmed up or something. I also bought some snacks and they had some healthy selections for snacks which is a plus.

The cashier was also friendly and also attentive.

Overall it was a good experience and I will probably be back. The location is the best.
My only suggestion would be to elevate the French fries.“
