About Taquería Sinaloense

Taquería Sinaloense is an excellent secret taco place with high quality ingredients, low prices, and huge portions. It is a small, below street level taco joint, just a hole in the wall but well worth the trip. The place itself is small but very cozy, giving it a nice local and welcoming feel with a few tables and cramped bar stools. The tamales are exceptional—large, an entree size, with masa that is so fluffy, not dry at all. A mild chicken version for children is available with seasoning but no spice. The menu is huge, featuring tacos (including el pastor and steak), quesabirria, sopes, a cheese flauta, and a steak torta. Everything is absolutely delicious, authentic, freshly made, and full of seasoning. The al pastor tacos are full, juicy, vibrant, and bright—an EXCELLENT value for the price. The mole tamale has a great amount of delicious, spicy mole chicken in really flavorful masa. This place is a perfect spot for a quick, tasty meal and is part of the Hudson line commute.

Excellent secret taco place. High quality ingredients, low price and huge portions. Just a hole in the wall but well worth the trip if you want some serious tacos (and quesabirria) huge menu too

SoCal girl’s opinion - the tamales are exceptional. They are large, an entree size for sure and the masa is so fluffy, not dry at all. I made a large order for Christmas. Ordering days ahead, they also made a mild chicken version for children with seasoning but no spice. After the party I froze the leftover ones and reheated them in the steamer and they are still 100.
