“Russ & Daughters is always one of the places I look forward to visiting whenever I’m in New York.

Everything is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients, especially the fish and seafood. They have a great selection of fish, bagels, and all the classic combinations, and everything we tried was excellent.

What I also really appreciate is how clean and well-maintained everything feels. Even with so much seafood being prepared and served, you never get any feeling of messiness or poor hygiene. The whole place feels very professional and high-quality, and the level of service matches that.

Absolutely delicious, fresh, and worth coming back to. Every time I visit New York, I’m already looking forward to the day I can come back to Russ & Daughters again.“

“With a name as generic as Bagel Shop in NYC, you better be good. Any concerns regarding quality were quickly dispelled when we walked through the door. The place was packed. We ordered a very basic selection of bagels and assorted spreads, nothing fancy. Overall, the food was great and the coffee was too...piping hot which is a plus. This is clearly a solid local spot with a well deserved reputation. We are glad we visitied and would return.“

“Awesome place for bagels, especially super early before a flight because they are open 24 hours. Also right next to a subway entrance so very conveniently located. Didn’t try anything else on the menu. We went here twice during our stay in Manhattan. Friendly service especially whoever was there the first time, didn’t catch a name. I had an everything bagel with lox and a cream cheese bagel with bacon. Both very good“

The bagels were fresh, delicious, and lived up to the hype. But what impressed me even more was the staff. They were always smiling, friendly, and more than happy to help, especially for first-time customers who weren't familiar with the menu. They patiently explained the different options without making us feel rushed.

To be honest, this kind of genuine customer service is becoming harder to find, especially in a busy metropolitan city like New York. It really made the whole experience even better.

“I come here every time I come to NYC. It's my favorite spot in the city. Today they had too much brown sugar cinnamon butter so they gave me some extra free. While I waited for my order, they gave some other people free bagels twhile they waited. You can watch them make the bagels fresh just behind the counter.“

Tge cream chese was actually silky and saucy i would say. Following that the vibe was great there is always a line you can sit outside on the bunch or inside too. They do give freshly pressed orage juice. One of the must go to spot. So dont miss it“

“I was out for a BF bagel on 3rd Ave and saw the deal Everything bagel with Egg& Cheese and a coffee $10. I ordered toasted and it came fresh with lots of eggs and plenty of cheese. It tasted good in the morning. It's one of the best bagels I've had in NY. The seating is plenty and the atmosphere is cosy. I will recommend it every time.“

“Baconeggandcheese on a rainbow bagel. And yes it's ONE word. 🙂 They are known for their super colorful rainbow bagels. So I had to get a baconeggandcheese on it. With salt, pepper and mayo. It was super delicious. At $10, it is a little on the more pricey side for a bagel but I think it was worth it. On average, bagel sandwiches in NYC usually go between $6 and $8 now a days. So it's not that overpriced actually. I also had to try the pizza bagel which was also amazing. The sauce and the cheese and pepperoni. Amazing. My fave was the baconeggandcheese on the rainbow bagel though.
Located a couple blocks away from time square on 7th Ave where you can catch the A,C,E,1,7,F,M,B,D Trains. Nearby busses include the M20, M7, M5, M55, M32, M34, M42“

“Honestly one of the best bagel spots in the area! The bagels are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. I got the garlic bagel with chicken salad and it was so good.
Staff is super friendly and the place has a really homey vibe. Tons of cream cheese options to choose from. Plus the prices are way better than other bagel places around here - you're not gonna spend $20 on breakfast lol.
Clean space with good seating both inside and out. Been coming here regularly and it never disappoints. Definitely recommend if you're in the Upper East Side!“
