“The bagels is really good. We got to try the suer heebster. It's surprisingly good, wasabi roe is not too strong. If you want to sit down and eat there're two benches in front of the store, we'd recommend going to their cafe, a few blocks away“

“The best bagels hands down! This has become our "go to" stop each time we pass through NY for bagels. Great customer service. We can call ahead and they have the order ready for our multiple (and large) family order with everything perfect! Super helpful and also help with bringing the many bags out to the car! So much appreciation! Thanks guys! Can't wait to see you again!“

“Booking a hotel close to this place was an excellent decision on my part. I will miss the everything bagel with herb cream cheese when I go home. It helps to know what you want before you line up because things move pretty fast once you’re in. I was always able to sit at the counter but if you’re taking it to go that’s probably even better.“

“Fresh bagels, hand rolled and made onsite. Can’t beat the selection. I thought it would be a tourist trap due to its location, but it beat every other shop we tried.“

“A true “holy grail” of bagel shops. Their menu is the perfect balance of the classic NYC bagels we know and love, but with some newer flavor combos added to the menu that make eating here both nostalgic and exciting. The Presto Pesto is one of my favorite sandwiches in the city. Make sure you try their chocolate muffins as well. While it can get busy, the staff are friendly and attentive.“

“Yo Alex, you’re the man. You said this chopped cheese was gonna be the best—and you weren’t kidding. This is hands down the best chopped cheese I’ve had on the island without crossing over into Brooklyn.
The staff is super friendly, the whole place feels like home, and Alex himself is a serious jokester. Honestly, the entire experience felt like a Seinfeld episode in the best way possible. And shoutout to the guy behind the stove—you can tell he put real love into that roll.
I’ll definitely be back.“

“B&B Bagels was such an awesome surprise during our stay in NYC. We walked over from the Ronald McDonald House one morning feeling a little overwhelmed by the city at first, but this place instantly made us feel at home. Everyone was genuinely kind, caring, courteous, and so generous — like we’d been stopping in every morning for years.
And the food… wow. I know “it’s just a bagel,” but seriously, these were incredible. The bagels were toasted perfectly with just the right amount of chew, the cream cheese selection was amazing, and the lox were absolutely delightful. Even the black coffee was perfect.
Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loved the rainbow bagel and it completely made her morning.
Thank you guys for the warm welcome, the great food, and for turning a simple breakfast into such a comforting and memorable part of our trip. We’ll definitely be back.“

“I’ve been coming here since the early 90’s it was one of the first proper New York bagels I ever had and it still feels the most authentic to me. I ordered from here recently and the delivery bike broke down. The manager picked up the bagels and hand delivered them himself. There is a reason they have been in business for decades.“

“34th Bagels & More was one of our favorite bagel spots during our time in Midtown Manhattan. While in New York we made it a point to have bagels every day, and this place definitely delivered that classic NYC bagel experience. Located right in Midtown, it’s a great quick stop whether you’re heading out for the day or grabbing breakfast before exploring the city.
The shop had a nice local neighborhood feel with a huge selection of fresh bagels, spreads, breakfast options, sandwiches, and coffee. I went with the onion bagel with jalapeño cream cheese, and it was perfect. The bagel was fresh, soft on the inside with a nice chewy texture, and the onion flavor really stood out. The jalapeño cream cheese added just the right amount of spice and creaminess without overpowering the bagel.
One thing you immediately notice is how fresh everything tastes. The portions were generous, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere had that busy New York breakfast vibe that makes the experience even better. If you’re staying around Midtown Manhattan and looking for a solid authentic bagel spot, this is definitely worth checking out.“

“The food and service is always on point. I live in Brooklyn but love to stop here whenever I’m in the city or when I’m showing visitors around. I’ve had the avocado toast, the rueben benedict (a must), salmon benedict and the ranchero (brisket dish) and it all hits!! I have yet to try the lunch menu but it’s just the perfect breakfast spot. Coffee is always great too. Just consistently good food and such warm friendly service.“

“I’m not a big bagel fan, but this one was delicious. There is a small menu of 6 items and 3 types of bagels, but it is done to perfection. Not too tick and doughy, crispy on the outside with just enough Whitefish salad, touch of mustard, fresh cucumber & dill with slice of banana peppers. Don’t let the long line discourage you, the staff are fast and efficient.“

“Easily the best chicken over rice in the Manhattan area. The chicken shawarma bowl was jam packed with flavours 🙌 especially the rice. Good quantity for the price. Special mention to Ahmed who made our first experience at the cart memorable.
P.s: Go grab your lunch at street bites rather than standing over an hour at Adele’s.

“The bagel is very chewy, so if that is what you're looking for, give Apollos a try. Small menu makes for easy ordering, and the bagels are fresh! I prefer the tomato and cream cheese on an everything, it's bright from the tomato and creamy from the cheese. Can't go wrong.“
“Always wanted to try a New York bagel and heard this place was great! Tried an everything bagel with vegan cream cheese and it was amazing! Lots of cream cheese was given! Also tried the vegan tofu strawberry cream cheese and a rainbow bagel which was good too! Definitely liked the original plain tofu cream more but lots of great options here for vegans! “Definately my favourite bagel place in the neighborhood. I tried both take out and dine in. The quality of the food is great, tons of cream cheese options! the restaurant has a few tables, they are quite small. It gets BUSY quickly, so finding a spot in rush hours isn't always easy. I've seen the line wrapping around the corner but they are also very fast.
They have another location as well in UWS, and I once placed my order for pickup in the wrong location and they managed it internally and still gave me my lunch. Absolutely love this place.“

“Broadway Bagel is good for a lot of things but it's better to tell you what its not good for because it's smaller. their pastrami, very chewy & fatty. I got a wrap & was horrible because I was fighting with the pastrami to bite off a piece & then getting fat in your mouth is disgusting. At times when I get a breakfast sandwich with bacon it's like that's when they choose to hide fatty bacon instead of giving you well cooked bacon. How does an establishment do that to their customers? The tuna wrap w/ French fries, I usually order but now they're adding lettuce when before it was onions & avocado now they're putting celery & adding lettuce. why did they mess with such a great sandwich? Certain staff I work with like their blueberry pancakes, homefries, BLT. But like I said too many times I bought a BLT & it was filled with a lot of fatty bacon. I look at my food before I eat it. They used to have different flavors of OJ, Mango/Pineapple, Strawberry/Banana/Orange, but now all they have is regular OJ. They're changing how they made stuff and they changed the working crew so all I can say is I mostly get breakfast. It's hit & Miss for a lot of things because I like my food the way anyone having a business should make the food for their customers; with love & as best as possible.“

“Honestly one of the best bagel spots in the area! The bagels are perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. I got the garlic bagel with chicken salad and it was so good.
Staff is super friendly and the place has a really homey vibe. Tons of cream cheese options to choose from. Plus the prices are way better than other bagel places around here - you're not gonna spend $20 on breakfast lol.
Clean space with good seating both inside and out. Been coming here regularly and it never disappoints. Definitely recommend if you're in the Upper East Side!“

“My onion bagel with lox and light scallion cream cheese was delicious and very filling. The girl at the register was awesome and the honey-vanilla-hazelnut latte she suggested was 10/10. Just a few spots for sitting but there’s a pleasant little fountain and garden area nearby with benches that you can rest at.“

“If you’re anywhere near Midtown and even thinking about a bagel, do yourself a favor and go straight to Liberty Bagels Midtown on 7th Ave. This place absolutely lives up to the hype—and then some.
I went with the Asiago bagel, and it was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly golden on the outside with that rich, cheesy crust, and inside it had that ideal New York chew—soft, dense, and just the right amount of resistance. You can tell immediately it’s fresh and made right.
The cream cheese? Next level. Smooth, rich, and clearly made fresh—it spreads like a dream and actually tastes like real ingredients, not something overly processed. But the real standout was the honey bacon sriracha cream cheese. Sweet, smoky, a little spicy—it hits every note perfectly without overpowering the bagel. Honestly, it’s one of those flavors you keep thinking about long after you leave.
The energy inside is classic NYC—fast-paced, a little chaotic, but efficient and totally worth it. The staff keeps things moving, and the payoff is a bagel experience that feels both iconic and elevated.
Bottom line: This isn’t just a bagel spot—it’s the bagel spot. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Liberty Bagels on 7th is a must-stop.“

“My only complaint about this place is that we didn't go the first morning we were in NYC. The kid and I each got a BEC on a plain bagel and two waters. Service was quick, super friendly (they remembered us after only our second time in), and oh man was it tasty. Very reasonable price and right around the corner from our hotel.“

“Leon’s Bagels has been kind enough to gift Zeta Tau Alpha at NYU bagels, and the experience with them has been incredible. From packaging to taste, they truly go above and beyond.
The bagels come in beautiful checkered boxes that are perfect for delivery and make the whole experience feel special and elevated. The boxes are sturdy and high quality, which not only keeps everything fresh but also makes opening them feel like a treat.
The owners are some of the kindest and most helpful people to work with, and coordinating pickup could not be smoother. The bagels were prepared on time, packaged perfectly, and the whole process was so easy.
The bagels themselves were incredibly fresh and delicious, with jumbo bagels included so there were plenty for everyone - and enough for each sister to have a couple. Everyone was raving about how good they were, and the scallion cream cheese was gone within minutes because it was such a hit.
Leon’s Bagels is genuinely one of the best spots we’ve worked with: fantastic quality, amazing service, and a truly thoughtful experience from start to finish. We are so thankful for their generosity and can’t wait for our next bagel-filled sisterhood morning. If you need Bagels for a big event, YOU MUST GO TO LEONS!!“
