“We stopped into Les Gateaux de Marie while in NYC and absolutely loved it. Such a cozy little bakery with the sweetest atmosphere. You can immediately tell the owner truly loves what she does and puts so much passion into every detail.

Everything we tried was amazing. The latte, coffee, cupcake, and crispy heart were all so good. We sat down for a few minutes to relax and honestly just enjoyed being in the space. The bakery is beautifully designed and feels so warm and welcoming.

One of my favorite parts was seeing the photos of the cakes she has created over the years. You could really feel her creativity and passion through everything in the shop. Everyone there was incredibly kind and helpful, and it ended up being one of those little places that makes a trip feel special. So glad we found it. Everything was affordable! We will be back!“

Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. “I’m honestly obsessed with these cookies. They are incredibly delicious and so appetizing. What I love the most is that I’m usually not into sweets at all, but these are just perfect.

They’re not overly sweet — just the right balance. The almond flavor is so rich and comforting, and the cherry adds this slight sour touch that makes everything come together beautifully. It’s such an amazing combination.

Now, I feared that my brain was gonna default to analysis paralysis when trying to figure out what six flavors to get, and Daniella, being the blessing that she is, immediately suggested six flavors. Mission accomplished in less than 30 seconds. 🙏🏿

My friend LOVED her mini cupcakes, and so, I am super grateful for Daniella's assistance today.

Lastly, Daniella is a beautiful human, in and out! She helped a lost stranger (from my home state!) who kindly interrupted our convo, as they needed directions to a nearby museum. Without hesitation, Daniella stepped in to help out, and this stranger was so grateful that she referred to Daniella as an angel. And, I couldn't agree more!

“My daughter is vegan. I ordered my first box of vegan cupcakes by Baked by Melissa in December and my daughter absolutely loved them. For Valentine's Day I sent her 2 boxes so she could take them to her office to share. They were a big hit even with her non-vegan co-workers. I saw pics. Absolutely beautiful. I will definitely send more as gifts. I also sent my friend gluten free cupcakes as a gift and she also loved them. Highly recommend.“

“This is my absolute favorite place to go with friends after dinner. All of their baked goods are great and the atmosphere is adorable. My personal favorites are the southern red velvet cupcake, blue velvet and confetti cakes, as well as their s'mores bars. Their cakes are also great for birthdays!“

“UPDATE- my first visit was April 2026. There were some mishaps but after my review the company reached out to make it right. I emailed them and they were willing to give me a full refund. What I took notice of and appreciated most of all is that they did not ask me to change my 3 star review. NOW; based on the CSTMR Srvc I received I’ve updated it to 5 stars. These days it’s extremely hard to get good CSTMR Srvc and I appreciated it.
I will say this, DO NOT GIVE OR READ TOO MUCH into bad rating that claim they don’t like how a specific item tastes. Everybody has different taste and it’s not mandatory for us to like everything on their menu. I went back a 2nd time and got the items I love, hummingbird and carrot cake, caramel pecan and blueberry cheese cake and ofc a banana budding. Again, my personal taste I would love to have it w/out the wafers but it’s so delish I just eat around them.

SOME STUFF ARE GOOD, depending on personal taste.
They messed up my order but I only realized when I was home.
1- banana pudding IS GREAT, BUT TOO MAY WAFERS. EWWW
2- IMO the red velvet cake was very dry and basic. Same taste everywhere, red velvet with cheesecake icing.
3- I had hummingbird cake with pineapples, and nuts, I don’t remember the name of it, but IT WAS AMAZING
4- pistachio cake was just ok.
5-we also had vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream icing. That was just OK.
The carrot cake was done so we didn’t get to try it. Everything else that they sell is your basic run of the mill sliced cake.“

“Food was good. Staff friendly. But, it's NYC and it's Grand Central. The customers seems to really have worked up a sweat, and brought it with them. A word - Deodorant. Don't leave home without it patrons! Some of yuse body odor made me want to head for the door. Onfault of the establishment though. I just saying. Be prepared that you share your bakery urges in a space with some people prefer au natural.“
