“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Maria makes the best carrot cake, red velvet, trees leches, plain and almond croissants I’ve ever tasted. Her passion for pastry is simply unbeatable. This isn’t because I provide her with same day delivery service, but I’m speaking as her customer as well. Her pastries are crafted with arts and the taste speaks for itself. I’m very familiar with French pastries for far too many years, so mark my words, if you’re looking for authentic French pastries, Les Gateaux De Marie is the place to go.“

“Honestly this was bussin, the yogurt has a bit of an odd flavor that grew on me the more I ate it. I am torn if I liked this or Culture more but the serving size was way bigger and the fruit was really fresh. I think this might be the best froyo in NYC.

“I happened to stop into this little cupcake bake shop, and it honestly felt like stepping back in time—the place is beautifully decorated with a real old-school charm, they offer some vegan and gluten-free choices which is great to see, there’s a nice variety of layer cakes and an even bigger selection of cupcakes, and the Ho Hos cupcake (chocolate cake with cream filling) brought me right back to my childhood—really well done, I’d definitely recommend stopping in if you’re in the area.“

“My daughter is vegan. I ordered my first box of vegan cupcakes by Baked by Melissa in December and my daughter absolutely loved them. For Valentine's Day I sent her 2 boxes so she could take them to her office to share. They were a big hit even with her non-vegan co-workers. I saw pics. Absolutely beautiful. I will definitely send more as gifts. I also sent my friend gluten free cupcakes as a gift and she also loved them. Highly recommend.“

“So tasty! These cupcakes are a little pricey at a dollar each (they really are only one bite), but they are so moist and delicious that is worth splurging every now and again. Especially when they have some interesting flavors of the month. I always get peanut butter and jelly and chocolate chip pancake.“

Considering so many people have an allergy issue, it sure would be nice and so appreciated to see a bit more variety in the gf cupcakes

“Banana pudding was good and like everyone else, there’s more wafers than bananas. Tried the red velvet cupcake and it wasn’t for me. They have whipped cream frosting and I prefer cream cheese frosting. The cupcake was a bit dense and dry, as if the batter was overworked.“

You could tell they loved working together and they made me laugh multiple times in the few minutes I was there! They even gave me a free sample to taste of a flavor I hadn’t tried before!
