“Lesslye Hernandez isnt telling the truth. The girl that works there is actually is very nice and really does her job well. she has a great vibe snd really knows how to take care of her customers. Lesslye Hernaandez is a liar and clearly dont got nothing to do with her life other than ruin others. dont listen to this brainless woman?. she was just impatient and clearly didnt understand that they just wanted to fix her order and didnt want to disappoint her but she was too impatient and rude. This place has great customer service and has great workers. Def recommend this place. Especially the girl that works there she is very nice and will make sure to take care of you. Some people just think they own the world or something. Once again don’t listen to this women. Customer service is great and everyone there does their job correctly!!!!“

“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“Eating the apple turnover inspired me to write this review - I've been here many times and nothing has disappointed me. Everything tastes super fresh, flavorful - even down to the chocolate in the chocolate croissant (it's like...not standard dark chocolate. I dont know what it is but its great and I enjoy it). Kinda expensive but worth it if you're ever in the area.“

“I went here when it was new and didn't find a lot to choose from (maybe they ran out already that time of day). Popped in recently since was in the area and there were a lot more buns/baked items to choose from. Prices are lower than some bakeries. Mochi donuts are $3; buy 2 get 1 free. Steamed buns were ok: tried the pork and veggie; and combo bun - with added quail egg, piece of sausage and shrimp.
Staff is helpful, and amiable.
Have tables/stools so good for a quick bite. No restroom.
Not far from Queens Boulevard so close to buses and Grand Ave/Newtown subway stop.“

“What a lovely bakery! I had one of the oat bars, the chocolate babka, and the hibiscus tea and each item was absolute perfection. As a habitual tea drinker, I could tell the leaves used were high quality and the taste was complex and tangy. The oat bar was the perfect mix of tart and sweet. And the BABKA…to die for—chocolately, pillowy dough, rich…who can ask for more? Also the woman who took my order was so kind and helpful! Wonderful spot with great service!! Editing to add: my roommate says the chocolate babka is better than breads bakery (who is famous for theirs) and I agree!!!!“

“I visited Yummy Tummy bakery for the first time today, with five other friends of mine to support a Black-owned business during Black History Month. The owner Melissa and Kaylan made the entire experience a delight. The two of them made sure we got all of our treats in a timely manner and treated us with such care. The sweets themselves were absolutely delicious. The fruity pebble cupcake particularly was the perfect amount of sweet, moist, and airy. If you’re in the neighborhood, I’d definitely recommend you stop by!“

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). “Bread is always soooo yummy and flavorful! Favorite bread is the white concha and one that looks like a croissant but taste like hojaldra orangey flavor I loveeeee. Also the rosca the best ever. They’re not stingy with the sweet sugary part of the rosca there’s enough for all for the amount they add. The place is semi empty perfect for taking ur time in choosing ur bread. The cappuccino was a little piece of heaven, the desserts were just a tad sinful, and the whole experience felt like a visit to the Holy Chapel of buttercream and chocolate.

I showed them an inspiration photo less than 2 weeks before the event, chose the flavors and prayed it was beautiful and delicious! I was able to pick up the cake at 9AM when they first opened the day after the holiday and crossed my fingers. The cake was beautiful. No... It was simply STUNNING. It captured the color that I wanted for the cake and the simplicity of the design of it. My daughter loved the cake.
