“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Would definitely recommend here for a pastry or sandwich. There’s not many coffee shops in Rockaway so I would say go here if your craving a cafe style coffee, but there drinks aren’t the best for it’s pay point.“

The only downside for me was that the mini cheesecakes / little cupcakes felt overpriced for their size. Either they should be a bit bigger or priced more reasonably for what you get.“

“Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I provided a picture of what I wanted and they did not disappoint! Besides looking beautiful, the cake was moist and flavorful, even days later. Highly recommended!“

“Leidylicious bakery is the most whimsical little bakery that’s gives the most pleasant experience ever. I ordered my daughter’s 8th birthday cake ( a Calico critters theme)from this bakery and the whole experience was very stress free. I love how they made it feels like I hired a personal baker. They communication and attention to every details exceeded my expectations for a small bakery. My daughter was very happy, not only with the design of the cake but also the taste. She is a very picky eater! Our cake was all chocolate with a chocolate ganache filling and you can just taste the richness and know that it is made with good ingredients. It was so moist and full of that whole good chocolate taste. I would recommend this bakery to anyone who is looking for that homemade, real good ingredients cake/desserts.“

“Came in early a.m., walked in to a bright and energetic atmosphere. Greeted by the cashier I gave my order. 1 Coffee and 6 donuts, not only was the price right; the donuts were phenomenal. I was unsure of what to get but they were patient with me lol I am a bit of a coffee snob and this was one of the best I’ve had. I’m always weary going into new territory (my own bs) but this was a delightful encounter for sure. I will absolutely be returning (with my children) as they could not get enough of the donuts. “Delillo pastry shop is one of those neighborhood gems to sit and enjoy exceptional coffee and pastries that are out of this world in quality. We highly enjoyed their Eclairs and Cappuccinos. They also sell a variety of Torrone flavors and we bought several as a gift for family.

The shop employees were so nice and helpful as well. This is truly a great place to stop and sit either inside, or out on the patio, and enjoy true Italian pastry. The only downside is that our stomachs ran out of room!

It was nice to know that they also ship out of state! We will certainly be getting more in future.“

“I waited the absolute last minute to order a cake for my daughter's 18th birthday and Maison de Gateaux did not disappoint. I showed them an inspiration photo less than 2 weeks before the event, chose the flavors and prayed it was beautiful and delicious! I was able to pick up the cake at 9AM when they first opened the day after the holiday and crossed my fingers. The cake was beautiful. No... It was simply STUNNING. It captured the color that I wanted for the cake and the simplicity of the design of it. My daughter loved the cake. It was also delicious (we ordered the lemon cake and cannoli; bottom and top tier respectively). It was also budget friendly. I got the 8" and 10" which was more than enough for sharing. I usually get their Belgian chocolate cake, malt brownie, red velvet sundae cup, biscoff mini cheesecake, and assortment of cupcakes (pistachio, raffaello, strawberry, and chocolate varieties). “I've been coming to this location for year's, and I've experienced it transition from different owners. Thank God this new owner knows what he is doing. I ordered this cake last minute for my Christmas day dinner. I was expecting them to tell me that it was to short notice for them to have it ready by that date since I literally ordered it 4 day's before Christmas. But to my surprise they took my order and had it done on time. It was ready by the time I got there. The cake to say the least was exactly how I wanted it to be and looked stunning and well crafted. And it was nice and moist it tasted like pure vanilla so good and rich.“

“The staff is so friendly!!! I was short $1.50 for my order and they just said it’s ok you can give me it tomorrow. After 20 minutes I came back and gave them $2 and told them to keep the change. They even thanked me for coming back! Wonderful food staff and place!“
