I had been viewing the Instagram and Facebook posts for two years when I finally got back East and had a friend drive 2 hours with me to visit, and it was worth it. “Phenomenal birthday cake for my mom. Light yet not too airy, great natural flavors and perfect balance of icing and cake. Also, you don’t feel bad after eating it. It’s just sweet enough that it’s satisfying, yet it’s not overpowering at all.

The only thing more phenomenal than the cake is the owner, Melissa. A chat with her will make your day. She is a real one and a good soul. We’ve got to protect her at all costs!

“This cafe is perfect to sit down and study or read as I did. I purchased the Asal Latte and the barista did a wonderful job. It wasnt bitter nor was it overly sweet. You can taste the honey direct from yemen and as well as the coffee that they roasted in house.“

“OMG The cupcakes are to die for. The frosting is amazing as it is not too sweet. The cupcakes are a perfect size, moist and have the delicious fresh homemade taste. I had the vegan chocolate cupcake and it had a delicious chocolate taste and was not that sweet at all. My daughter said it was the best cupcake she had. It was worth every penny and I can not recommend BKLYN Cake Studio enough for its delicious cupcakes. I definitely want to try the chocolate chip cookies with sea salt next.“
