“Everything is good here, and always fresh. They have a variety of donuts- both yeast and cake. Wonderful breakfast items, and I love their rolls and/or bagels with bacon, egg, and cheese( delicious). Coffee is bold and flavorful, and customer service is friendly and fast. Family owned business and a staple in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Stop by and try their goodies out for yourself. You won't be disappointed.“
“I normally recommend this bakery to everyone. However, yesterday morning I went to your Brooklyn location to bring home bombalones for family. This morning the strawberry on top on one is literally covered in mold. This is absolutely unacceptable! Unfortunately I'm already back out of state so I can't even come back to get an exchange. I spent around $75 yesterday.... and I get MOLDY food.“
“Wow, GREAT place to go if you like Coffee/Tea & donuts, but SO MUCH MORE that's great for spring & summer incl fantastic soft serve ice cream: They've got their own unique TOP Quality donuts that were somewhere between a beignet and a zeppole (I'm told that it's a Mochi donut) and the mouth-feel is like they are a fried donut with a lovely texture and fantastic chew! They have both a regular shaped donut and a kind of Flower shape that breaks into individual balled pieces of donut, so THAT worked well sitting on top of a soft serve ice cream cup and them injecting whichever flavor of soft serve you choose through the center and into the cup - Great combo that's very easily broken off into pieces to have bites with the soft serve which today was either Milk Cream or Thai Tea today along with the flavor varities of donuts - Glazed Donut – Classic, Coffee Toffee, Poppy Grapefruit, Toasted Coconut Bear Donut (Regular) – Chocolate, Cheddar, Lavender, Sugar Cream Puff Donut – Dirty Choco, Double Milk Tea, Matcha Custard, Strawberry I didn't see the limited edition peanut butter and jelly but I can tell you I was definitely satisfied!“
“First and foremost, their pastries are wonderful! Came in the morning when everything was well stocked. They had a variety of bomboloni (Italian fried doughnuts), croissants, cookies and muffins. They had at least 3 different flavors of bomboloinis (orange spritz, blueberry/raspberry, strawberry cream) and at least 4 type of croissants (butter, everything, basil cream cheese, espresso). There were even more but I've forgotten. I got two sweet and two savory ones plus an Americano. The total was $28 which in my opinion is a decent price for NYC. I saw a board outside that a breakfast sandwich and drip coffee combo is $9. Other than what's displayed, they also have a food menu. I noticed someone ordered an everything croissant with egg and salmon or prosciutto. It looked really good so I will definitely be going back for that. They have a large space. There are cozy seats and tables at the front. The back has plenty of tables and chairs. They even have a long bar table with high chairs against the wall opposite their open kitchen. They also placed a few tables and chairs on the sidewalk. Most importantly, they have one clean handicap assessable restroom. Next to that there is a storage area that they tried to shield with trees. I appreciate they try to make the space pretty and clean.“
“Wow wow wow. Took the ride from Philly for these donuts for my birthday. Before I even got to eat the donuts, the owner who happens to be the sweetest person in the world, gave me pins for my bday! The donuts were mind boggling. The guava cheesecake donut is other worldly. The miso apple, raspberry currant, and salted caramel, were so amazing. Thank you so much!“
“Went around Monday afternoon, was in the mood for something for a quick bite. When you walk in there is always a warm and cheerful welcome. Grace is always so kind and patient to customers who go in, was unsure of what to get yet she was so kind to explain the items the café provided. Decided to buy a bacon and cheese egg sandwich, K-corn dog, and Croffles. She was so kind explaining each ingredient and it’s uniqueness. 10/10 would come again!!“
“As an offshoot/sequel to the redoubtable Ample Hills, it should be no surprise that the ice cream is superb: thick, rich, inventive, creamy, and perhaps my favorite in New York’s five mighty boroughs. I always go ooey gooey butter cake or peppermint pattie (or both), but there are delights to suit every taste. (Note well: I was so excited about the ice cream that I forgot to take a photo until after a few bites. A cone offers more than pictured here.)“
“These were the best donuts I’ve EVER had!! If I could live across the street from this wonderland I would do so in a heartbeat. I’ve never had something as delicious as this donut, I’d love for them to name a donut after mePossibly the henrific donutTruly the best place I’ve ever been to“
“This place looks very artsy on the outside, once you step inside you feel like you’re at home with the decor. There are two self serve kiosks which are really well designed and easy to use. The food is absolutely delicious and reasonably priced! Definitely come here for authentic Korean street food.“
“Went about 10:30 am on Easter Sunday, and there was a line almost out the door... about 10 customers ahead of me. There is some stool seating in the store and a few benches outside. All the selection is vegan. The donuts are great, and unless someone told you they were vegan, one would be hard pressed to tell the difference. It's worth a revisit to try the other flavors.“
“The croffles here are really good! I really like the blueberry, Oreo, and cherry flavors! They are pretty big and the price is very reasonable! The mochi donuts are ok, I'd rather get a croffle for two more dollars. The space is pretty tight so it can't accommodate large groups unless you go to the outside seating areas. Each time I have gone the staff have been eh, lots of workers scrambling around and not being helpful, but other than that the quality of the croffles out weighs my annoyance with the staff.“
“This place has amazing food and brings so much nostalgia for authentic Korean corn dogs, twist bread, and donuts. Service is great. I highly recommend the corn dogs and korean donuts, as well as sweet potato ball. Reserve ahead of time for pickup if you are ordering for a group.Vegetarian options: Sweet potato balls, twist bread, corn dogs“
“My hotel was not far away, so I decided to stop by on my visit to NYC. I ordered the rose donut, rose chai (almond milk), and filter coffee (almond milk). The order tasted great, and the aesthetics were truly unique for a neighborhood shop.Absolutely loved the experience and will make this a regular on my visits to NYC!“
“I had never had good donuts before. Yes, I've had regular donuts from coffee shops but not like this. This donut shop definitely sets a bar. Their donuts are made fresh and to your liking per order (so yes, there is a bit of a wait if they are busy) but its worth the wait.“
“Read the rave review for this doughnut so I decided to try it. Lots of flavors were still available although I was there late night (after dinner).Brooklyn black out: the doughnut was very dense and it was more like a chocolate cake. It tasted good: just enough chocolate, the dough itself was not too sweet & lots of cookie crumbles on top. Dense doughnut is not my cup of tea but it was a good doughnut“
“I have to admit, even though I'm not a fan of donuts, I found Moe's to be absolutely delicious! The donuts are like cake but not as dense, which I really appreciate.I had the pleasure of trying the old fashioned, red velvet, dulce de leche, orange, and pistachio donuts. I enjoyed all of them, although I found the dulce de leche a bit too sweet for my taste - but then again, I understand it's supposed to be sweet. One more thing that really stood out to me was the fact that they accept credit cards. It makes the whole experience much more convenient.Next time, I will try to take some photos without devouring it first!“
“Came here late on a Sunday night after seeing it on Tik Tok and I understand the hype! Located in Bushwick, when you first walk in, it's an unassuming tiki-themed donut shop with a small seating area. Donuts are huge and looked absolutely delicious. We actually came for their speakeasy in the back. Walked through the photobooth and was transported into a completely different space. Great for date nights with a beautiful bar, and lots of green velvet couches and tables for seating. The star of the place is a rhino emerging from the wall that blows out smoke every now and again. When I walked in on a Sunday evening, the bar was packed but I was able to sit at a table with no problem and was served immediately. To drink, I had the Pacific Rim which was lightly sweet, fruit-forward with hints of passion fruit and pineapple, and just overall very refreshing. My date had the Flying High which we both did not love. The best part of the evening was that we were able to order a donut to our table. We had the Alscapone which we were both a little weary of ordering but it was fantastic. The pineapple marscapone filling was tasty and paired really well with the hot honey butterscotch sauce and prosciutto. It sounds like a weird combo but it was easily one of the best donuts I've ever had! They describe it as spicy and I wouldn't say it is but it definitely has a kick to it. This is what won me over for this place! I would 100% come back. Rating 4/5 stars!“
“This is a very cute shop, my hubby and I took a long drive here but it was well worth it. The minute I walked in, I was so happy seeing and smelling their delicious mochi donuts. They have a delicious selection on teas as well. If I lived closer, I'd go there every day. The service was great, the woman who helped us was so kind and friendly.“
“I loved the s’mores mochi donut. One time I went and I thought the mochi donuts were a bit oily. The last time I went it was delicious. So it might depend on the day.Update.I went back to get the s’mores mochi donut April 25 2024. The mochi donut was delicious as usual although I don’t think it needs that much marshmellow fluff on top but you can just take some off. I tried the Ube Tres leche. It was amazing!!!!! It rivals the tres leche café in Manhattan which is the best one ever. It’s seriously amazing. Musttttt try!“
“Some friends brought us over to Comfortland for brunch and it was a fun experience. Ordering at the window is a neat, unique experience. We decided to eat inside. It's quite a loaded menu. Some items seemed so over-the-top, but they're not as crazy as they first appear. I landed on The Old Boy. Flavors were delicious, and oversized, but not too unwieldy. The only thing that threw me a little was I couldn't tell if the meat was ground beef or thinly sliced meat that was chopped SUPER fine because of how small the pieces were. For a drink, I got a malted cold brew. I've had other malted coffees and this didn't disappoint. Right up there with the best ones.“
“Bruh, I stopped for a snack on my way to the Brooklyn Paramount and I'm so happy I stoped here!! The donuts!!???!!!! Omg cooked to PERFECTION!!! They did not taste like oil whatsoever. I'm so thankful Yanelis provided me with great recommendations and exceptional customer service. Shoutout to her! She knows her stuff!!! This place also has outlets in every seat which also persuaded me to stay.“

“Despite the store name, these donuts are a great reminder of the age old lesson - it's what's on the inside the counts. The red bean filled donuts are game changing. With the cinnamon sugar, it's nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and most importantly, not too sweet. And there's no DAIRY. How is that even possible. Staff are super friendly. Everything is fresh and made to order, so I would suggest eating it as soon as possible. Also order online so it's ready when you get there.“
“I was actually taken aback with this doughnut. I got the creme brulee. It was the best doughnut I've ever eaten. There was so much filling and the dough was soft but bready and it was just perfect. Sweet but not overly sweet. I haven't stopped thinking about it.The service was lovely and there are a few places to sit. I didn't love the iced coffee but try for yourself and see! Get the doughnuts though. I'll be back before I leave new york.“
“The selection of Mochi Donuts is remarkable! They taste incredibly delicious and have the exact texture as the originals from Japan (e.g., those from Mister Donut). Mochi Mochi Donut is a small shop within a larger establishment with several small shops in Korea Town. The only downside is there are virtually no seating options, and even standing space is very tight and limited.“
“I always come here for dor my dougnut fix. I get the gluten free almond donut. The gluten free orange donut is tasty, but if you are gluten free you don't necessarily crave an "orange donut" when you crave donuts. I wish they always had the moca gluten free donut they made once. Or a gluten free vanilla donut filled with raspberry jam. Jam is gluten free and could create a "real" feel?!“
“The pastries are amazing at this place. The only problem I had was that none of the donuts are labeled as to what they are. They did have labels for dairy and non dairy but you have no clue what type of donut you are getting. Spoiler, they are all great though. It's really tough to find parking in this area though. I skipped going a couple times because of this. However, if you live in the area, you are walking there so it doesn't matter“
“Ok, I don’t want to be dramatic but this may have been my very favorite avocado toast, like, ever. It’s very simple and fresh, and just the right amount of acidity. I needed to ask what was in it, and the barista said it’s a bit of rice vinegar. (I need to try that at home myself.) coffee was good and all, but I’ll definitely come back for this avocado toast! (And sweet baristas.)PS: 4 stars for the atmosphere because the shop is a tiny tiny hole in a wall. There is a counter seating that can fit maybe 4-5 people tops. You may not find a space to sit. But still worth a visit.“
“5 stars hands down just for service. Delicious cake was simply a Bonus. The lovely lady that helped me while the owner was out Monday went out of her way to find a replacement cake as they sold out of my first choice. To top it off she included a bonus bag I found at home with several free donuts. Very pleasant experience.“
“I haven’t been here in a long time but today we were passing by and wanted some doughnuts. They have some of the best and unique flavors and types of doughnuts here.We got a coconut cream, creme brulee, carrot cake, and tres leche. Their chai latte is also very good. The doughnuts are rich and taste exactly like their names with no weird artificial aftertaste.“
“Wonderful little diner with DONUTS. *GOOD* DONUTS. Literally what more could a human ask for?? They're also 24/7 I believe, making them a true diner, and true heroes ?Vegetarian options: Have nice amount of breakfasty veggie options! Maybe skip if you're a vegan.“
“Molci Dolci is a cute small cafe with lots of mochi donuts options and boba. They also serve small bites as well. The cafe was very cozy. The owner took our order and was very attentive and friendly. They also have a cute speak easy in the back. We were only able to check it out because they were closed for a private party that was happening soon.“
“staff can be a little slow and inconsistent but i think it’s just the vibe. the breakfast sandwich is really good and all the doughnuts are def worth trying. coffee is super strong and even though there seems to be some loitering there’s generally always space to “
“Very good doughnuts with interesting flavors. The dough itself is pretty different than the chain doughnuts like Dunkin or Krispy Kreme, found it to be very soft and lighter. The glaze we had was Blueberry Lemon with Oat Crumbles and it was delicious. It was a bit too sweet for me but otherwise very good combination of flavors.Vegan options are available for select flavorsDietary restrictions: Vegan options available“
“Absolutely delicious mochinuts I have ever tried! They have so much depth and flavor that one is never enough! They have so many to choose from and each and every flavor is chefs kiss! I know I will be coming here everytime I crave some mochinuts.“
“I had been wanting to try this place and decided on a whim to stop by when we happened to get dinner nearby, and was so glad we did! We had the mont blanc and Oreo croffles (they only had a few options left at the end of the day). They still tasted fresh, great texture, and flavors were nice without being too sweet. I hope they expand their savory options too, but either way will definitely be back!“
“The Krispy Kreme donuts at this store are different from other stores. You can watch the donuts being made and even receive a paper hat.Maybe it was just luck, but when I was watching them making donuts, I said, ``Do you like Krispy Kreme donuts?'' When I answered, ``Yes, of course,'' I received a freshly made original donut.Afterwards, there was a line of people watching to get donuts. What makes them different from Japanese Krispy Kreme donuts is their sweetness and shape. As expected, I feel the sweetness and fatness is stronger than in Japan. The shapes are not all the same as in Japan. (Similar to other donut chain stores in America)However, once you get used to it, the intense sweetness becomes addictive.(Nowadays, I find it hard to feel the sweetness when I eat Japanese chocolate...)These donuts are delicious, but if you're visiting from Japan and buying them, I think one donut is enough. They also sell original goods, so be sure to check them out.I think it's a good store to stop by while sightseeing.“
“Wow wow wow, I felt like I was on a tour, instead you can see the whole process of preparation and production of the donuts, you can make a quick order through the screens at the entrance and the donuts are already sold for pick up, I got to eat a lot of donuts and they are always dry and disappointing, this time the donuts were crazy, fresh and delicious!!!!Recommend!“
“A very lovely takeout counter on the UWS. I've gone here several times and everything is always really good.I enjoy their cinnamon rolls which are quite large, have a very good rise, and are not too sweet. The cinnamon rolls have a nice caramelization that happens on the bottoms and the bread itself is quite nice.I have had their lingonberry donut in the past, with skillfully made dough and the frosting very tasty and tart. The cappuccino has also been good, with a great foam.it's also very dog friendly. They often open the door to greet my dog and give her a treat, making this a great spot for the whole family!“
“The coffee here is amazing! I always drink it black so can get a real taste of the roast, Zelma’s never disappoints. The ambience is cozy and relaxed, I love that they offer Wi-Fi and encourage people to work or read while there. Will definitely continue to come back :)“
“Enjoyed their unique menu. For the loukoumades, I got classic flavor. It was slightly oily for me, and the dough had a sour taste like sour dough which was interesting. If you don’t like it, you might have to choose a flavor that is strong to cover it. For classic, the sourness was kinda clear.I had the Freddy cappuccino drink which was amazing tho! Coffee was a little bit too bitter for me, but the foamed milk on the top, almost like cream, was impressive.“
“20240220::i love these small local diners. i got the burger(ok, premade), and pankakes(i love pankakes as much as i love burgers). an order of pasta and alfredo, it wasn't bad(took a while cause they had to make the pasta midday. at least its fresh. need to try their omlettes and home “
“This place is my go-to place for Bubble tea now. I recently discovered it since Gong Cha nearby closed down but Wanpo is way better. I usually order milk teas, classics such as oolong milk tea or just black tea unsweetened and without ice. I don't go for the boba but usually select grass jelly or pudding, something I have been into since a year or two. Let me tell you the pudding and the grass jelly of this place is the best I have tried so far, and I have been to the usual places in the city: Gong Cha, Coco and more recently Chun Yang Tea. Out of all the ones I named, Wanpo is just the best. The quality of their tea is great, their toppings is of quality (can't speak for boba, sorry about that but it isn't my first pick in terms of toppings) and I love that they also offer real tea options with Alishan oolong on the menu. Alishan oolong is a kind of tea I usually drink hot without adding any milk or sugar, but it is still great that they offer it, I have yet to try it. Definitely with they had more locations, this one is better than the one in Manhattan which is catering to students of NYU which in my view isn't necessarily great. The location near NYU had less choices from what I experienced and they seem to be sold out of topics and teas more often. Go to this one if you're nearby!“
“Best mochi coffee donut I've ever had, I'm so happy I went, now I dream about it daily. I did take 4 to go, gave me neighbor one donut then ate 3 on my own the next day. To be honest they tasted better the following day when eaten first thing in the morning with tea. If this place was next to my house I'd be there every morning!“
“Would give this a 5 star, but you guys are STINGY with the sugar ??plz put more sugar on your corndogs and donuts. I just ordered a Corn dog WITH sugar, but received no sugar on my corndog, & this isn’t the first time this happens A LOT. Other times when i order a corndog with sugar, y’all would either FORGET the sugar or put SO little you can barely see the sugar. Same with the donuts, don’t be afraid to coat the corndogs with a DECENT amount of sugar, and not just SPECKS of sugar, PLZ? Otherwise, the service is decent, just don’t be so stingy with the sugar on the corndogs/donuts “
“Great happiness in this act of generosity, I sense. With Cantonese grandmas, enter through the door I did. Krispy Kreme, kind and bountiful, they are. Handing out free boxes of a dozen donuts, a gesture grand. Each donut, a circle of delight, sweet and light as the clouds of Dagobah. Joy, not just in the eating, but in the sharing with wise companions. Many smiles, they bring, to young and old. Gratified, I am, for such kindness in the galaxy. Recommend this place of sweet joy, I heartily do. To all who seek a taste of happiness, with friends or family, to Krispy Kreme, go you must.“
“Really amazing donut shop in Brooklyn! I can't even tell that the donuts are vegan. My favorite donuts were the PB and J and the Almondine donuts. I honestly think you can't go wrong. The worker who helped me pick the donuts was very sweet. The inside of the store is mainly a togo spot, but there is a small table on the outside where you can enjoy your donuts. Highly recommend this spot!“
“This is one of the oldest establishments on Avenue U . They have been there 50 years that I know of . Their donuts are okay . The coffee is probably the best coffee on Avenue u. Sometimes the staff can get a little grouchy but they're basically hard-working decent people . Every so often some crazy person comes in and it can be quite entertaining . The Establishment itself is a little rundown but it's okay . There is no place cheaper than this on Avenue U and the food is reasonable and good .“
“Passed by this place so many times and finally was able to walk in. Service was great. I had so many questions and the staff was very attentive. Menu had so many great choices and will hopefully be able to try them all! If I can suggest placing the nutritional facts on the menu, I like to document my food intake for the day. Other than that my protein shake was delicious! See you again soon!“
“Great crew and great customer service, also... I love shootin the crap with the crew of guys that hang out in there at night! Good bunch of guy's. ...GO TRUMP! Never miss a stop in there when I'm going though the neighborhood! Best DD in NY!“
