Kamal is the best employee at this location! The most professional and friendly out of the rest. Listens and is very attentive, doesn’t chat over my food/beverage as he’s preparing it, stellar accuracy with my orders, and is ALWAYS in a good mood which is very welcoming. Give this man a raise! He deserves it and has surely earned it.

If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“

“We came to NYC for vacation and how refreshing to be able to find a location that is dedicated to those that suffer from allergy restrictions. My son usually wherever we go has to either have plain vanilla ice cream or forgo any type of treat because it’s just not safe. Tough as so many amazing treats to have in NYC. To be able to walk in and to have the so many amazing, delicious donuts to select from that were safe for him was one of biggest highlights on our trip. The location is charming, clean, and right off of the subway line. So easy to get to and the staff was so kind and engaging. I highly recommend a stop here, especially if you suffer from food allergies! I wish more places would take a note from their book and have such a wide range of tasty treats that are safe for everyone! “Best vegan chocolate croissant! Since the closure of Le Petit Monstre & L’impremiere, it was difficult to find a place that makes authentic and proper vegan croissants. Unregular nails it. Also had an excellent plant-based SEC on a round croissant. Excellent! Makes me wonder why they don’t just make everything vegan, no one would notice. Please open a vegan location in Williamsburg!“

“I’m donut? gets 5 stars from me. 🍩 The texture is what makes it different—super soft and chewy inside, with a slight crunch on the outside.

It’s definitely not your typical-style donut, and that’s exactly why I enjoyed it so much.

“Their focaccia bread is by far my favorite. And this is coming from someone who is a croissant fanatic over focaccia bread, in general. Been to a lot of bakeries and yet the flavor, crust, texture of their bread is unparalleled. Their kouign amann is VERY good but their bread blew me away. Incredibly friendly staff as well. I’ve seen the owner there every time I visit and can tell they care deeply about their pastries and bread. Highly, highly recommend!“

I gave her a picture that I wish I could up load and not only did she replicate the exact design but the cake itself literally melted on our mouths. “Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends!
