“I’ve never had an issue at this McDonald’s on B91 in Far Rockaway. It has always been clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and professional. I enjoy coming here with my family because we can sit, relax, and enjoy a quiet, comfortable environment.

The food is always served warm and fresh, which makes the experience even better. Overall, it’s a great location that I highly recommend.“

“I work in speciality coffee and it is oftentimes difficult to find someone who will treat your pour over with the same care and attention that you would give it.

The barista was alone and the shop was busy enough that there was often a line at least three people deep. This did not detract from any quality that I saw coming from this shop.

The barista still made sure she purged the grinder, rinsed the filter, and spent the time and attention to brew the coffee well.

The coffee was a Colombia Pink Bourbon and it was wonderful.

“Awesome staff! Don’t know his name but he is very welcoming and nice! The chocolate chip cookie smelled so good when it just taken out from the oven that I had to get one! And the rum-infused latte was contained in such a cool container!
Iced rum-infused latte is so good! You can taste the flavor of rum when u drink the latte but it actually has no alcohol in it. It’s just bc the coffee beans were soaked in rum during the processing of the beans.
The chocolate chip cookies smelled so good, tasted good too, but just too sweet for me (I got an East Asian mouth).“

“I stop in here a couple of mornings a week, and the coffee is consistently good; the espresso has real body, and the tres leches latte is excellent when I want something indulgent. The app with order-ahead is useful. Docking a star because if you haven't ordered ahead, the line around 8:30 moves slowly. They take their time with each drink, which I respect, but it's not the move if you're trying to catch a train. Go after nine, and it's a much more relaxed experience.“

Exactly what you expect when you picture a diner. No frills, cheap, and exceptionally average food. It gets the job done, with the kind of gritty atmosphere you’d expect from a place that’s been serving neighborhood regulars for years.

I had the cheeseburger, while the person next to me was chowing down on chicken parm and spaghetti. The cheeseburger tasted like it came straight out of the freezer. It reminded me of the kind I used to get at the bowling alley as a kid.

“It was my first time having a Mexican for breakfast and the burrito was surprisingly good! I had the hongos which had a great combination of mushrooms, eggs, black beans and more. The burrito was warm and the outer layer of the tortilla was lightly toasted. The service can be slow but it is not a big issue as long as you are not in a rush or arriving on an empty stomach.“

Buddies Coffee is a very small coffee shop planted on a mostly residential block of Alphabet City. the interior is colorful. there's are a couple of chairs inside but no tables as the space is quite compact with most of the space taken up by the coffee bar, but the the vibe is modern and cozy. the exterior has chairs set up on the sidewalk as that is where most of the seating is... very clean, neatly arranged coffee shop with a variety of house-roasted bags of coffee beans for those who make their own coffee. the coffee drinks menu is fairly concise with your usual suspects of espressos, cappuccinos, etc. as well as some signature drinks. the coffee, here, is consistently good. the roast is aromatic and the flavor smoothed layered. enjoyed the drip coffee, Americanos, and cortados...and none have disappointed. the coffee shop, itself, is very much a neighborhood spot as the hours are limited with closing times being on the earlier side. if you're in Alphabet City or the East Village then Buddies Coffee is well worth your time.“

“My husband and I made the long drive yesterday (2 1/2 hrs each way) from upstate NY to visit our daughter in NYC just for the day. While strolling around her neighborhood we came upon your lovely bakery and cafe and after eyeing the beautiful carrot cake in the window, we had to go in. Carrot cake is my favorite sweet treat. There were so many beautiful choices, but we got 2 slices of carrot cake to take back home with us. After the long drive back home we were really looking forward to a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. I opened one of the beautifully packed boxes, which revealed an enormous slice of yumminess!! The slice was big enough for at least 3 people. I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Everything about this cake was phenomenal. The frosting was outstanding, the cake was so flavorful and moist. It was the best we’ve ever had. We have enough left for a few days. I’m so glad we stopped in. It was a great way to end our lovely day in the city and will most certainly go back on our next trek in . I will also have to get our daughter pick up some baked goods when she’s coming home for a visit. I highly recommend Crumbly Cafe & Bakery😊😊“
