The most amazing chocolate babka ever! Take a peek at the layers! Excellent experience; you may ask them to bring you a piece for the price you'd like to pay, and the pricing is determined by weight. The piece I purchased was far heavier than it appeared, and it was about $37, but you still get what you pay for. Need to give it a shot!
One of the best babkas out there. You pay by weight and he lets you pick out the one you like. The chocolate babka is decadent and hefty. The babka is very traditional but is perfect. The rugelach are also fantastic. They were just pulling out warm cinnamon rugelach when I arrived; they were to die for. It may be intimidating to shop here as the shopkeeper speaks some broken English, but you get the full experience of shopping in a Satmar neighborhood staple. It's probably best...read full review
