“Keens Steakhouse is a MUST visit for great food, exceptional service and a unique dining atmosphere that hearkens back to its roots.Everything was delicious! I had a T-Bone and it was perfectly grilled. The carrots soaked in butter were amazing! The wedge salad and bread border on addiction inducing! For dessert, the creme brulee was outstanding. One of the best I've had in the United States! Simple but light and creamy with an undertone of vanilla it was perfection in a cup!Thank you Keens for a wonderful experience!“
“This was a fantastic experience! From the moment we stepped inside, the staff was courteous, engaging, helpful and knowledgeable. We had a party of 3, and ordered 6 dishes. Each dish came out as it was made and each dish was absolutely delicious. A person in our party had a gluten allergy which was no problem and accommodated with ease. We come to NY every year and this will absolutely be a place we revisit again and again! Vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike will appreciate the dishes and be amazed with the taste! Highly recommended!“
“For me it’s an absolutely perfect dining experience. I had the best server. Best rib steak and fries and pecan pie. Amazing vibe. Definitely not overrated or overpriced. Tasted way better than Gallengher and Wolfgang. Those 2 are real overrated ones.“
“Classic NY-Italian bakery in all of the best ways. My family and I have been coming here for years. The cakes, cookies, and pastries have been featured on many of our holiday tables. One of my favorites. While their cheesecake varieties are amazing, (their Italian style is my favorite of their cheesecake varieties), I absolutely love and adore their Fruit Supreme Cake and their Strawberry Shortcake. Also the Sfogliatelle/lobster tail pastries are delicious! I favor the custard filling over the cream but to each their own, they also have chocolate filled ones. I appreciate that they have mini pastries like mini cannoli and others for when you want a small, quick treat but can’t take a larger pastry with you.“
“I think this place is great. Especially for a date night too. The Temaki they serve is great for a 2 bite situation, making it really easy to share between 2… if that’s your thing. To be honest, coming here and getting the classic & signature is just as $ as getting delivery sushi, maybe a bit more expensive but it’s worth it. High quality ingredients & thought out flavors.Personal favorite temaki is the XO scallop. The whole entire restaurant is gluten free by the way, so that might win a lot of people over. The interior & vibe is definitely for a certain demographic and will become aged out within maybe a year or two. The interior is on the same note of that Tend instagram dentist place, and that’s not a compliment. The music they play reminds me of what they would play at like a retail store.Dietary restrictions: The entire restaurant is gluten free & can help gluten intolerance with their meal.“
“We held a private party at Casa Ora and had a wonderful time. Food was delicious, cocktails amazing, restaurant beautiful and service impeccable. I highly recommend it as a venue. Special shout out to Gonzi (private event host) who was attentive to all our needs during planning and on the night of the party.“
“A hidden gem in the east village. Food is experimental and delicious to eat. The Hawaiian Asian fusion food is very unique and rare to find in the city. The gluten-free fried chicken is a must go for anyone who has dietary restrictions. It is crispy, juicy and delicious.Szechuan Bolognese is quite an interesting combination of Chinese and Italian cuisine.Heritage pork chop is a very delicious too.Not to mention the dessert!! The brûlée Hawaiian pineapple and the Chocolate Haupia Sundae are too good to miss!I love the intimate environment. Small space without too much pretentious. The service is superb. You can tell the staff generally care about if their customers have a good time there. Very spontaneous, very friendly and very observable. Will come back again!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free fried chicken“
“One of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time. Every dish was a 10. Exciting, innovative, yet still approachable and incredibly delicious. Still thinking about the seabass tartare and the mafaldine with king crab mmmmm. The team there is TOPS. They execute flawless fine dining service in a way that feels genuine, cool, calm and collected. Many many thanks to Whitney, Darnelle, Naomi and Josh. Already looking forward to my next visit.“
“Ordered the Philly cheesesteak with a gluten free bun and lentil pancake and I was blown away. Almost tastes as good as the real thing. Definitely will be coming back and being my friends ! The Philly was flavorful, bread was fresh and warm.“
“Delicious, hot out of the oven pies in a cozy wood paneled old school spot. They have espresso martinis on tap but we opted for the wine - all reasonably priced by the glass and super tasty!Between two people we shared the DelRay (their version of a pepperoni) and a white kale pie. The DelRay was a juicy and savoring slice with perfect tomato sauce, and salty greasy saucers of meat. They have chili oil and chili flakes which only help magnify the flavors. The white kale has a base of a nut-free kale pesto with cheese and garlic. This one was a sleeper hit. I usually don’t like white pies but this one blew my expectations. We also had a tres leches cake which was soaked in sweet milk and had a sponge texture. Not my favorite dessert but it could have been that I was so full at this point.I can’t wait to come back and try my pizzas. Might be my favorite sit down spot in NY for pizza ?❤️“
“Per Se graces the bustling streets of Manhattan, New York, with its culinary prowess. Led by the renowned Thomas Keller, this three Michelin star restaurant delivers an unparalleled dining experience that is nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment you step through the doors, you are enveloped in a world of sophistication and refinement. The service is impeccable, ensuring every need is met with grace and precision. And the wine pairings? Simply perfect, elevating each dish to new heights.Among the many highlights of the evening, the cheese signature dish, Oysters and Pearls, steals the show with its harmonious blend of flavors and textures. It's a true testament to the culinary genius at work in the Per Se kitchen. But what truly sets Per Se apart is its attention to detail and commitment to exceeding expectations. The thoughtful gesture of a Goodybag filled with delectable pastries for our young companion was a delightful surprise that added an extra layer of warmth to the experience. While dining at Per Se may require a significant investment, every dime is justified by the unforgettable memories created and the unparalleled quality of the cuisine. For those seeking a gastronomic adventure like no other, Per Se is an absolute must-visit destination in the heart of Manhattan.“
“Lovely spot, came for brunch on my birthday. Same great food and great service as always, but I was surprised to find the Yemenite Pancake renamed (which is the best thing on the menu).I always thought they were cool for putting aside differences and shouting out their southern neighbors… I mean, Yemenis food is delicious.“
“Russ an Daughters is one spot where you go for the finest things!!Awesome placeAwesome serviceWorth the price and time... An for some reason I always meet interesting people from here in New York or from around the country an even people from around the world ?“
“I happened to be in Greenpoint on a weekday morning so I decided to add Radio Bakery to my list of places to stop by. There was no line, so I was in and out. There are a few counter seats by the window and some tables on the sidewalk outside for those who want to eat at the bakery. I was hoping to get their chocolate PB croissant, but they didn't have them that morning, so I ended up getting the double baked pistachio croissant and the earl grey morning bun. The pistachio croissant was very good - super flaky and crispy on the outside and not too sweet. I liked the whole pieces of pistachio on top. The early grey morning bun was also solid, and I really liked how strong the early grey flavor was. Overall this bakery is great, but I knocked off a star because this place is pricey, even for NYC ($8 for a croissant!). I also don't think it's worth waiting in line for on the weekends, so I'm glad I got to go during the weekday.“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“I absolutely love the coffee, however, everytime I come to this establishment, I am charged differently for the same drink. I am not to certain as to why. I expressed this with some of the staff here at Hamlet, who then empathized with me, but I guess did not relay the message. I am starting to believe that specific staff members are making up prices. I am not too happy about this. I truly enjoy the coffee, however the fluctuations of the pricing will be their downfall if it persists.“
“A good friend from South Carolina recommended this restaurant. I must say this was some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. The owner of the restaurant is extremely nice and I would highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Wu for telling us about this wonderful restaurant.“
“My go-to coffeeshop in the neighborhood! I love swinging by here on my way to work, coffee in hand on the subway, station just around the corner. I'm usually a simple cold brew person, but their blended drinks and lattes are both excellent, while boasting a variety of flavors usually hard to find (sorrel and soursop).“
“The food is great and the prices are reasonable for NYC. I highly recommend everything on the menu. I agree with their statement that everything is tasted twice a day and cooked to perfection. Everytime I come, the food gets better and better! I would highly recommend the food and drinks to my family and friends!“
“Lunchtime Discovery That Demands a Dinner ReturnMy first venture into Rucola for lunch turned out to be an unforgettable experience that has me eagerly anticipating a return visit for dinner. Nestled in a space that can only be described as a rustic cabin meets modern chic, Rucola instantly charmed me with its unique and dope vibe. The highlight of the visit was, without a doubt, the sandwich – a creation so deliciously satisfying, it left me in a state of "nom nom" bliss. It's rare to find a dish that makes you dream about your next visit before you've even left, but Rucola managed just that.Adding to the overall excellence was our server, whose recommendations were spot-on and service was impeccable. It's always a pleasure to encounter staff who enhance the dining experience with their enthusiasm and knowledge.Rucola's ambiance, combined with top-tier cuisine and service, makes it more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary destination. If lunch was this impressive, I can only imagine what delights await at dinner. Counting down the days until I can return and dive deeper into their menu. ???️“
“woke up with a craving for the perfect blueberry muffin and Rex delivered. super soft, fruit forward muffin with a perfectly crusted top, sprinkled with sugar. so so good. they also make a proper cappuccino and have great ambiance with pleasant music, nyt copies, and books to peruse. I will definitely be coming back for a lil Saturday morning outing one of these days.“
“Really beautiful space with lovely food and great service. I was expecting a bit more from the food tbh for the price (not sure what though because I have no real complaint but it wasn't spectacular other than the mixed fritter appetizer which was the best tempura I've ever had). All in all 4.5 stars.“
“Laura & team really have the whole “hospitality” thing down. From start to finish, our service was fantastic and the meal was delicious in every way! The garlic noodles with the steak were so amazing. The steak was cooked to perfection and the noodles had such amazing flavor. The noodles normally come spicy but we opted to put the “spice” on the side and they were supper accommodating. We also got the veggie pancake which is amazing EVERY SINGLE TIME. So so so good. All of the flavors at Bricolage are fresh and really wow the taste buds. We will be back :)Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options“
“Excellent bakery I found for our baby shower cake! Marie the owner was fantastic. The cake was very well done. Very close to identical of the photo that I provided to Marie. The photo on the left is what I provided. The photo on the right is what she made for us. All our guests raved about the cake. I’m happy to have found a bakery that I will certainly be using for upcoming events/birthdays.“
“A delicious cookie spot! I finally caved and tried one. It is tasty, crunchy and soft and chocolatey as a good cookie should be. Honestly, for the city and the size of it, the price is okay. I definitely enjoyed it and understand why it is so cherished. I enjoyed mine in the park.“
“I mean, what can I say? I sat at the bar, like a lonely weirdo, and the staff was amazing. Fun people, great food, great service, and every one of the staff members has a great backstory. I’m only here four nights, I’ll probably come back four times.“
“One of my favorite study spots on the Upper East Side!!! They offer a delicious selection of Puerto-Rican inspired coffee and have two rooms, one where you can buy the coffee, and one quiet one with long tables where you can work peacefully! The atmosphere is lovely and the service is great. I definitely recommend!!“
“During my recent dining experience at Quality Italian, the food lived up to its usual standard of excellence. However, I must note that the wait time was considerably lengthy and the ambiance was rather noisy. Despite these drawbacks, I would still consider returning to enjoy the delicious fare.“
“We were a table of 5 , it was my nephews 18th birthday . We were a bit late due there was a barricade due to the presidential motorcade. They were so nice about it and still seated us. I went for lunch . I personally had the smith bar steak and side greens . I also had the tomato soup and Mac and cheese and hot fudge sundae . Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The waiter was nice and even took our picture when I asked . we had a nice time . I would go back here again. the place was cute“
“Im rating this 5 stars because I honestly love the food experience and ambience. I came once by myself and had the best coffee cake I’ve had in my life, so much so that I remembered it when we came again last weekend and had to drop by. I got the baguette and a cookie this time and both did not disappoint, and loved the coffee cake again. Hot chocolate left something to be desired though.“
“Visited here three times now (both brunch and dinner) and had a lovely experience each and every time. Enjoyed good food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.Had a different server each time but service was consistently attentive, kind, and efficient as possible. Noticed that it always seems to be one person working the front of the restaurant at a time so when it gets busy they really hustle.Wanted to try the homemade banana bread because of the good reviews but they didn’t have any. Betty recommended a dessert that resembled a plantain donut filled with a sweet bean paste and it was really yummy! It’s clear that the owners put a lot of love into the food and care about the community around them. Highly recommend.“
“I've been several times and it's consistently really delicious! The sushi is pretty cool with very realistic vegan salmon and tuna, but in my opinion the rest of their menu is even better. There's a big variety of other delicious things (fried "chicken" bao, dumplings, noodles...). The ube cheesecake is really good too - it doesn't taste exactly like a normal cheesecake but is just a tasty dessert in its own right. All the dishes come out really quickly.“
“I’ve been here many times, the food is delicious and everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free which is amazing for an Italian restaurant. The waiters are nice and make you feel at home!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free“
“Saigon Social is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in the LES of Manhattan. Owned and operated by Helen Nguyen who uses her wonderful restaurant to prepare food for those in need for various organizations in NYC. She is a wonderful person and an amazing chef using her classical training to prepare amazingly authentic and forward thinking Vietnamese dishes. It’s a must visit!!!!“
“I moved to Williamsburg three years ago and I’ve gone to Butler nearly 400 times (I counted). I live near the Williamsburg location but have taken the ferry many times just to try the dumbo location as well. I always get a coffee or tea AND the breakfast sandwich which is why I keep coming back. It is delectable. No joke I’ve spent almost $10K eating here because it’s my comfort food. I do pick up, dine in and delivery. Always good.Vegetarian options: Awesome vegetarian and pescatarian options. For the breakfast sandwich which is my fave you can omit meat. However they really need to lower the price for adding avocado for those that omit bacon.“
“Fantastic American lunch spot! I had the chicken sandwich and the sriracha mayo was just immaculate. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and we were seated right away without any reservation. The staff and servers were also very kind and helpful throughout our meal! Would recommend to anyone wanting a good lunch in Manhattan!“
“I enjoyed the avocado toast, with two fried eggs (extra) (they don't do poached). Nothing fancy, nothing catchy. When it came out I prejudged and was thinking, oh hmm, this might not be good. But overall the avocado and the eggs were good enough for a 4⭐, and I think the two things that helped to push it over the edge to 5⭐ were the bread and the pickled peppers. In particular the pickled peppers added a little bit of sweetness and a little kick. Pleasant surprise.Matcha latte was reasonable and not remarkable -- lacking in latte art but slightly making up for it in portion. Also, could have been sifted/whisked some more because there were lumpy chunks at the bottom. Nevertheless I won't let this pull down the 5⭐ for food.~10am on a rainy Sunday morning but the place was almost full. And there was a robust pickup / delivery business.“
“Went back and they are way better. Looks like they got the kinks out bravo. Great timeHorrible front of house experience. Let me start with we are avid flex mussels fans in their previous location we were heartbroken when they had their fire and rooted for them when they reopened in the old beyoglu. With all new business a new start is difficult so we struggled with planning a get together in their new location knowing that their would be hiccups but we really wanted to rally for them. Unfortunately we should have waited longerWe had 830 reservations for our large party and was seated an hour later. The host gave us a round of bubbly as an apology. We didn't expect it we were still in good spirits all good super nice of them. Then the nightmare of a waiter showed up. Repeatedly asked us for our order details, didn't advise us when items were no longer available, generally unpleasant, asked us to help him clear the table, teased one of our friends who shares in on a dish after another had left. We left feeling insulted and betrayed by a business we were a fan of. It always feels more insulting when you are trying to support a small business you were a fan of only to backfire. I sincerely hope they turn it around I only .iss the old location and staff more. The food was still impeccable but the front of house will bring them down if they don't turn it around.“
“Definitely lived up to the social media hype and no doubt best tavern burger in Queens. One can choose any burger on their extensive burger menu with a side of fries or onion rings for less than 20 bucks, it’s a deal I’m willing to sign up for every day.We went on a Thursday late afternoon and place was energetic and lively, just what you expect from a well-known busy tavern. I can only imagine what it’s like on weekends when they have live band.Donovan’s is the real deal.“
“My two nieces and I popped in this morning on our way to the Natural History Museum. I’ll admit I was hesitant but thankfully I listened to my nieces! I had the avocado and eggs in a crepe, which was the best gluten-free sandwich I have ever had. Did not miss the bread at all. My 14 year old chose the Nutella crepe with banana and the 9 ounce Açaí bowl. Oldest selected one of the big bowls … it was a work of art. Highly recommend and we will be back on our next trip. All the best on your growth plans!“
“Great addition to the UES. Excellent food, try the prosuitto, fig and melon appetizer if they have it. The carpaccio was so good and the deserts! The wait staff was very attentive and refilled our water glasses often. The owner was lovely and sweet. I will be back with my family soon.“
“MUST VISIT Great drinks- great food. Presentation and flavor WAS EVERYTHING. Have visited several times and was never disappointed. Very attentive staff, with friendly smiles and energy. Great ambiance with intimate sections to sit. This place is on my wife and I's top 10 list. One of the best vegan restaurants we have been to.“
“We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“
“Continued with my pizza cravings this season and stopped by this place recommended by my friend. Clearly it is known for their guilty-pleasure gluten-free pizza and their unique fried pizzas (which I didn’t get). The place seems to quite spacious with an open kitchen in the back featuring a red brick stone oven for pizza baking. Monday noon is not busy at all so we did walk-ins and got seated right away.Pistachio & SalsicciaIt features mozzarella, pistachio pesto, sausage, pecorino romano, basil. We had never had pistachio pesto before so we were intrigued to try. The basil on top and the extra virgin olive oil’s flavors didn’t fall short in comparison to pesto and sausage. I got hints of pistachio but not much from eating this pizza. The sausages were crumbly and fell kinda everywhere when I cut the pizza. The flavor is new, just not impressive.RicottaGot a lighter pizza to hopefully offset the other heavier one. It is indeed light, but I didn’t get too much from tomato sauce: I didn’t get the acidity or tanginess or sweetness, it is like my eyes were telling me I was eating a pizza rosse but my taste buds said otherwise. The ricotta was nice and creamy even after being torched. But after the pizza got colder, the ricotta didn’t want to be stay with the pizza dough anymore.I didn’t like one particular thing: they delivered both pizzas at the same time to the table and the pistachio & salsiccia pizza was a bit colder, so the cheese started to harden and there were no stretch of the mozzarella.I loved about one thing: the chewiness and the bounecyness of their crust. I wouldn’t say they have the lightest crust (compared to the other Naple style pizza places I have eaten), but their crust is the most mochi-like one. I started to wonder what flour they used to develop that much gluten. Really good crust which I am willing to eat alone or pair with maybe some dip everyday, subjectively speaking.I feel like I probably need to try some other flavors to possibly re-evaluate this place. The truffle and mushroom pizzas are still waving their hands at me.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pizza offered.“
“Went at 945a a little after they opened and the line was moving pretty quicklySubbed chorizo with avocado in this massive burrito with scrambled eggs, potatoes, tomatillo salsa verde. Ok each bite had a burst of flavors. It’s reasonably priced and I would absolutely get it again!I also tried their chocolate chip cookie, chocolate banana bread loaf, ube sesame mochi, cheddar chive biscuit“
“Brian, our server, was incredibly helpful with making suggestions and food pairings. Would absolutely recommend this place - you can't go wrong with any food choice! We had the Barratt to start, and shared the mushroom risotto (so deliciois!) and the salmon (cooked to perfection).“
“Happy hour did not disappoint! My friend and I ordered a few happy hour items to share, and the dip trio is a definite must-try. The hummus was incredibly smooth and perfectly seasoned. The romanesco was a recommendation from our server, and it was my personal favorite. Kinda reminiscent of buffalo sauce because of the tang and spice, goes very well with the pita. The feta-lebneh was interesting, very pungent and strong in flavor but I still enjoyed it. The chicken sliders were seasoned super well, but a little messy to eat since the pita slice buns were thin. The kale salad was a good way to balance out our spread, and the pinenuts and cheese added good texture and flavor. Great place to catch up with a friend or have a date night!“
“I actually think the pastries are a bit hit and miss, but I’m clearly in the minority on that one. They also rarely heat up any of the display food (quiche, fritata, etc) much above wave-a-candle-in-its-general-direction temperature.BUT, sitting outside or in the backyard with a coffee and sandwich make this place a return spot. The breakfast sandwich is a delicious mess and the bread was phenomenal. Cappuccino was also fantastic (I’ve had much worse at dedicated coffee shops nearby)“
“Today I had a life changing cookie. I had the strawberry milk cookie, then immediately texted my husband and called my sister to talk about this amazing cookie. Strawberry is one of my favorite flavors, so maybe I’m biased, but it was the best cookie I’ve had in a really long time. It was soft with crunchy bits on top, and the strawberry flavor popped. I felt like a cartoon character with heart eyes and sparkles coming out of my head with just one bite. The s’mores cookie was also amazing. Both cookies were delicious and also unique. I can’t wait to try the other flavors.“
“My first exposure to Burmese food. I was really excited to try and learn about it. I enjoyed the suggestion from the staff. I'm also vegetarian. I was leaning towards one option, but he highly suggested someone else (the photo I posted and pointing to) and I went with his option.Glad I did. Twas amazing. Something I learned about the cuisine, is that food necessarily won't be piping hot. It's intentional.“
