“Food was good. Staff was nice. My only negative feedback is that I ordered spaghetti and they broke it into small pieces. That really irritated me. Each piece was an inch long, making it hard to stay on my fork. Breaking spaghetti is like a sin. The baked clams could of been more crispy on top but they weren't bad. Don't know if I'll order that again. Fried calamari with marinara sauce is tasty.“

“Definitely lived up to the social media hype and no doubt best tavern burger in Queens. One can choose any burger on their extensive burger menu with a side of fries or onion rings for less than 20 bucks, it’s a deal I’m willing to sign up for every day.We went on a Thursday late afternoon and place was energetic and lively, just what you expect from a well-known busy tavern. I can only imagine what it’s like on weekends when they have live band.Donovan’s is the real deal.“

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! Loved the rainbow cookies, Jamaican Patty and the black cake. The layer cakes are spectacular as well. Coffee, tea, chai, cappuccino--just some of the hot drink offerings to go with your treats. The owners are most congenial and welcoming, serving you with utmost care and attention. The bakery is light and airy with several tables to dine at. Located across the street from the Glen Oaks library on Union Turnpike, there is ample street parking as well as the large parking lot located behind the bakery. There is convenient access to public transportation too: the Q36 and Q46 stop steps away. My family and I truly enjoyed our time at Rose Valley bakery and cannot wait to do so again!“

“Had an amazing time there as the owner is so personable and aims to have a “small cafe in Connecticut kind of feel” which I definitely got. She really works to personalize your orders and is willing to try new recipes. I got the chocolate chip and strawberry cheesecake, apple cinnamon muffins, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate mousse, chocolate chip cookies , double chocolate cookies, and bloodies which all tasted incredible! Parking during the day is hit and miss but that aside for those of us who love a local red table cloth Italian with Italians at the helm DiMaggio's is it. “Bring back the original yogurt with granola and berries please! The new container is smaller and has more plastic so it’s harder to mix everything. There’s also less fruit and the granola is different too! The lemon and peach infused choices don’t hold a candle to the original formula. I got one of each flavor, and each one was better then the next. Like..Tim hortons and dunkin who? Hahaha. For only $15 we got a mini carrot cake, a dozen donut holes, and a large sprinkle cookie. What a deal! The shop is so quaint and they have so much to choose from. You can even get dog treats, edible cake decorations prepacked loaf cakes and cookies.Even though they take credit cards, they have an ATM inside for convenience. So if you're trying to hop on the RVC train and need cash, you can quickly open in.Parking is metered street parking. There is more parking on the one way street around the corner, if you can't find one in the front.“

“Had the bacalao fritters as an appetizer. They had small shards of bone in them. We each pulled bones out of our mouths. My friend ordered the cod named after restaurant. Had bones. No where in menu does it tell you that their plate is BONE IN. Made meal unpleasant.I had lamb chops. I must say they were thinnest lamb chops ever anywhere. Usually they’re 3 double chops in every place I’ve had them. Here they’re 4 single chops so thin you can’t get them medium rare as I ordered. I’d say go but ask lots of questions.“

“To start, they seat you with a tray of tortilla chips and 2 types of dipping sauces which were both flavorful and delicious. First we ordered the loaded plantain, then for tacos we got the cauliflower, chicharron and shrimp and we got the chicken burrito bowl and chicharron burrito bowl, all delicious. “Wow, my new favorite indian restaurant.Massive vegetarian selection. I tried the samosas which were good. but their garlic naan was the best bread ive ever tasted. Super fresh and fluffy, yet crispy. I ate the chana masala which was above expectations. The flavors were great and everything tasted freshly made.Service was ok, the employees were attentive and helpful.I will definitely be back. “I went for a morning walk to explore my new neighborhood more. In the past, I've known exactly where I'm going in Ridgewood but never just spent time to explore. I came across this gem that's been a part of the community 90 years. I found out about the history from the amazing and inspiring Toni. The egg and cheese croissant was great. It wasn't greasy like other spots. Yes, they have breakfast options! Not just sweets. The dirty Chai was great. I loved the energy in the bakery. It felt they've built a really good community setting that I'm happy to go back to with my daughter.“

Shipped when expected order was just delayed a couple days because of massive USPS delays before the Christmas holiday. They even threw in some nice chocolates that was a nice perk and not expected. “Every dessert I've had from Saint Honore has been delicious. The interior is cute and cozy. The staff is always friendly. I highly recommend getting the box of mini assorted cookies. “This is going to by my weekly bubble tea spot. They were so friendly which is always a driving factor for a quality establishment for me. Price point was great. We only got teas today, but I can't wait to try some of their pastries. They looked beautiful and based on other people's reviews they're probably delicious. We got the brown sugar bubble milk tea and Passion fruit green tea with lychee popping boba and just look at that adorable little heart shaped tea stopper. I will be a frequent flyer here“

“Second time ordering here and this time ordered Chicken Bruschetta -perfectly crispy chicken cutlet on top of a light salad with balsamic vinegar, topped with bruschetta (they were not cheap with it). Plenty of seating so you can enjoy your crepes indoors instead of standing outside.I got their strawberry banana crepe and because there was an ongoing promo, I also got a free mango Yakult drink too! The crepe was made really quickly as they already have crepes ready to assemble behind the counter. I like how they packaged it in a way that made it easy to eat and not spill everywhere. “I went to try it after an early workout class. There was a line out the door to enter to enter. It should be noted that it was Good Friday. I decided to eat inside which is an open seating style. I ordered at the counter first and then took an empty seat. I ordered a quiche with spinach that was accompanied by a side salad. I ordered a piece of baguette on the side along with a cappuccino. Everything was delicious. The baguette was so soft and flavorful. I wanted to order a who baguette to eat on my walk home. The place is cozy, there were board games available for use. Everything smelled really good. The woman who checked me out in the counter recommended a puff pastry and gave me a disclaimer it was small. I ordered one for later. I do not remember the name of it but yum! It was a small bite size puff. Delicious. I will be returning to order some loaves of bread and the French onion soup that was highly recommended.“

They seem to not have a working phone, and aren't even receiving Grubhub orders that customers place, so it's kind of impossible to order ahead from here currently, but I really hope they fix all of that because this has the potential to be a great pizzeria option in Elmhurst.“

“This place is a slice of nostalgia for me. The inside is very much a bar, which is why they serve (and specialize) in bar pie. Service has always been decent, nothing to complain about, but nothing stand-out either. The pizza is thin and crispy. It eats light, even with toppings. My favorite topping is probably their meatball, which they thinly slice. It goes great with their sauce. Don't get me wrong though, a regular cheese pie is great too. It's also only 270 calories. You can't really beat that. There's some debate over whether it's been open since the 30's or 40's. No matter how you look at it, it's been around for a long time and a long time for a reason, a very solid bar pie.“
