“I got the blueberry yogurt cake. It tasted fresh and tasty. I am surprised by how perfect the balance is between the sweetness(not overly sweet like other cakes that could give cavities), the fruits, and the cake part.

The cake is topped with blueberries, and the inside has strawberries! A very pretty and beautiful cake that also tastes delicious.

“Peters CAN serve up some delicious bagels... however they are very inconsistent. I come here for the convenience as it is located in my neighborhood. However, ordering here is a coin flip. Frequently I will be missing an add-on or will ask my bagel toasted and it will not be.
I suggest going to Slims or Utopia if you're in the area.

“Great place for crazy cookie flavors, a little pricey and other than the everyday flavors the specialty flavors are more expensive. If you join their club you get a FREE cookie for your bday but only the daily flavors, specialty ones are not included and they should be, after all if it's your bday you should be able to pick what you like. Even though cookies are pricey they can be worth the try because I feel this is not a daily place but a nice treat once in a while.“

My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. “We picked up a tiramisu cake yesterday which was delicious and fresh. It was the best tiramisu cake we've ever had. The cream was fresh. It wasn't that sweet and the Lady fingers were like cake. Very soft and delicious. I've been going to this bakery since I was 13. I'm 60 now and it's still in business. That says a lot. They also have the best strawberry shortcake and freshly baked cookies. And of course I can not forget the chocolate eclairs with cream or custard. You won't be disappointed. Everything they sell is good.“

Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. Unlike other ube cakes that the cream does not taste ube! I almost eat half of the cake because it is so good! Price rating: 7/10, $45 for a round cake. Thats the usual price now for more stores! Definitely will come back here I will try their other flavors! But get the ube cake!!“

Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “I found Bertha after doing a search for two tier custom cakes in the Bronx. I was unsure and a little skeptical about ordering online from someone I couldn’t physically meet but I took the chance and ordered 7 dozen cupcakes and a two tiered chocolate cake with chocolate filling for my daughters sweet sixteen and they came out so beautiful and delicious. She asked me to send a pic of a cake that I liked and she replicated the cake so well with my own lil spin on it. She did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her and buy cakes from her for any event I may have in the future. Also, she is much cheaper than most bakeries that usually would charge $800 for the cake I wanted. I only paid $280 and the cake was just as beautiful as the cake another bakery quoted. Highly recommend her if your looking for beautiful and great tasting cakes!“
