“This place has the best halal Haitian beef patties. Super layered pastry beef and chicken. And the price is super good. Don’t eat in your car it will get super messy. They have fish patties too. They have other baked goods too but I’d say the Haitian meat patties are the star of the show. Super suggest beef. Not the chicken or fish“

“This place is great. I have no idea what these 1 star reviews are on but I love coming here after HS and getting a pretzel. The service is great and the people here are super nice. Their pretzels are made well too — some places are way too crunchy for me and the ones here are perfectly soft and fluffy. The cups are always loaded and I know I’m getting my moneys worth. 🤌🏼“

“This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables. It is a great choice for anybody that has a lengthy layover in JFK during a meal time, especially if you need to change terminals and leave the secured area anyway.“
