Malú offers unique pastries, such as the Dubai chocolate cheesecake that is to die for, I ordered their olive bread as I used to do when Yaya was open. Their berry napoleons are the best, the spanakopita and the leek pies are very fresh and tasty, I also ordered them. In summary, a unique business in terms of quality, variety, cleanliness and the warmth of their staff. “It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.“

“We picked up a tiramisu cake yesterday which was delicious and fresh. It was the best tiramisu cake we've ever had. The cream was fresh. It wasn't that sweet and the Lady fingers were like cake. Very soft and delicious. I've been going to this bakery since I was 13. I'm 60 now and it's still in business. That says a lot. They also have the best strawberry shortcake and freshly baked cookies. And of course I can not forget the chocolate eclairs with cream or custard. You won't be disappointed. Everything they sell is good.“

Good display of breads, cakes and items from the Philippines. Service: not much interaction cause I just bought cake and go. Food: UBE CAKE: omg it is so good! The cake itself is moist even few days after I purchase! The frosting is like cream type, its a bit a lot but it taste good because it taste ube as well. “I found Bertha after doing a search for two tier custom cakes in the Bronx. I was unsure and a little skeptical about ordering online from someone I couldn’t physically meet but I took the chance and ordered 7 dozen cupcakes and a two tiered chocolate cake with chocolate filling for my daughters sweet sixteen and they came out so beautiful and delicious. She asked me to send a pic of a cake that I liked and she replicated the cake so well with my own lil spin on it. She did an awesome job and I would definitely recommend her and buy cakes from her for any event I may have in the future. Also, she is much cheaper than most bakeries that usually would charge $800 for the cake I wanted. I only paid $280 and the cake was just as beautiful as the cake another bakery quoted.
