“My wife and I stopped at OB's after church for some food. The smells emanating from this restaurant always get us on the way to the gym, so we had to taste for ourselves. Thankfully, the food did not disappoint! While the wait and the way the restaurant is not walked into but effectively stood outside of was not our favorite, we'll definitely be coming here again.“

“Donovan’s Pub is owned by 2 Woodside gentlemen. The staff is amazing friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. The food is absolutely delicious and great portions. They have the Best Burger in NYC. It’s the best burger I have ever had. They have awesome live music every weekend on their brand new stage. Their lineup of musicians is the best around. I’ve been going there for 50+ years and I highly recommend Donovan’s Pub in Woodside NY.“

“This is not a place you come to for atmosphere. This is a place for delicious falafel and other Middle Eastern foods, like shakshuka, kibbeh, etc., all vegetarian, since it's kosher dairy. The food is authentic Israeli-style. The staff is friendly, too. I don't wear a yarmulke, my wife doesn't cover her arms, and they serve us, and everyone I've seen walk through the doors with a smile. Good food and civility are universal. Give this little shop a try!“

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“Mr. Kiwi is very much what it presents itself to be. A super convenient, 24 fruit stand with a convenience store without a deli attached. Because it does very high volume in fruit and vegetables, there are very often good deals on produce they need to move and because their foot traffic is so high, the discounted prices have a tremendous effect. A pallet of raspberries at a dollar a container will disappear between the time i go to work in the morning and when i return in the evening.

There is a fresh squeeze juice bar staffed by very capable juice squeezers. It is $7 for a fresh squeezed juice and you owe it to yourself to try one - you can mix up to 5 ingredients.

While the fruit is often very price accessible, the longer shelf life items are priced at full retail.“

I never been over there because I’m normally in Little Italy, but since I get waxed across the street and grabbed a coffee at Dunkin’ Donuts, I said why not walked in spoke with Jackie purchased a delicious cheese danish and a medium loaf of bread with sesame seeds this establishment has been there for decades. Everything is made to order again they offer catering. It’s clean with a grade a rating. I will be taking the 15 minute drive from now on to purchase from them.“
