“This past Friday 9/25, my friends and I visited as part an annual tradition we hold to honor the love of myself and my husband (who has died). We gather to partake in some pumpkin beer as was a customary thing me and my husband would do on our anniversary in late Sept. I reached out to Mike, the manager of parties and hospitality (may not be exact title) for a table or two. Mike and his staff were very accommodating giving us space to gather and share beer and laughs with.
Great South Bay Brewing not only has some of the best drinks but also offer delicious bites to enjoy. I had the Philly cheesecake eggrolls which were soooo good. Not spicy but very flavorful. I also tried a slice of the street corn pizza a friend ordered. Was I pleasantly surprised how all the flavors blended for a real treat.
Whether you are gathering with friends and family for a refreshing drink or something to east or both, I recommend stopping at Great South Bay Brewery. And if you need to book a room, private space, or special request- reach out to Mike and his team. They will do what they can to make your event and need enjoyable.“
“This is one of my favorite breweries in the area, maybe even on all of Long Island, and we spend a lot of time at breweries!
I love the little outdoor area. There are umbrellaed picnic tables, adirondack chairs, and simple cocktail tables with chairs.
The beer is really good. There is always a variety from IPAs to belgiums and fruities. I believe 8 choices. Now I also see cocktails on their menu. Though as much as I am a vodka martini fan, if I can have a good beer, I always opt for the beer. But, I just overheard the guy from Sand City Brewery commenting to Melissa the bar tender, that she makes the best cocktails. So you can't not have a good night here!
My fav this summer is the Summer Seance. Its a hazy double IPA that is not too sweet, not too hoppy, and not heavy. I have never been disappointed by any of their beers.
Lindenhurst train station is walking distance. And we order food from down the road and eat at the picnic tables. Very nice evening!“
“Awesome place. Happen to be visiting the area and found this brewery. Will definitely visit this brewery again when in the area. Owner and Chet (the dog) were great. Beer was good. Atmosphere was cool. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. Especially liked the Amber and Black IPA“

“I came here one summer afternoon not long after it rained. There was some sort of group activity inside so I grabbed a flight and sat by the picnic tables, enjoying the afternoon. There was some good food at the food truck as well. Overall I enjoyed the beer and vibes.“

“Scott and his entire staff went above and beyond to help us with a last-minute Celebration of Life gathering. During such a difficult time, they showed incredible kindness, generosity, and compassion, making the entire process so much easier for our family.
The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were perfect, and the staff provided exceptional service from start to finish. Every detail was handled with care, and they made everyone feel so welcome.
