Great vibe and drinks. Haven’t tried the food yet but probably good! They always have cool shows and burlesques on Thursdays in the back room. Had hella fun!
Freddy’s is such a cool and unique neighborhood spot. It has that authentic Brooklyn bar atmosphere that feels increasingly hard to find. What really makes it stand out for me is the live music — you can come in for a drink and unexpectedly end up discovering a great local band or performer.

Freddy's Bar offers a fun and laid-back atmosphere with a rotating selection of beers, including small batch locals. The restaurant features a funky lowbrow interior, outdoor seating, and a unique Charles Bukowski shrine. Enjoy live music, comedy, and burlesque on certain nights, and sign the guestbook upon arrival. Chef Mo's Philly cheesesteak quesadilla and tots are amazing, and there's even a secret menu to explore. The bar has a dark yet red-lit vibe with a wood bar and booths, cool decor, and an awesome playlist. Events happen almost every night, making it a perfect hangout spot. Bartenders are no-nonsense but friendly—just don't be an asshole. A great place to get drunk.
