We enjoyed eating at Blackwell's in Oct/Nov 2018 while visiting New York from Ireland. Ann Marie made us very welcome. Food was really nice and staff were very helpful.

good midtown bar food
First time visiting Blackwells and was very happy! The cosmos were outstanding and all of our entrees we delicious! The server was incredible. The restaurant was very close to Grand Central Terminal. Will definitely head there again next time I'm in NYC.
