“Never had afghan food before and I was blown away by this place. The mixed veggie plate was divine. The lamb was divine. The rice was divine. They’re firing all cylinders here. Love the open kitchen too, that’s always a good sign.

“This place has amazing food, the chicken is probably the best tasting chicken I've had in any dish so far in my life, and it'shalal too. The service is always excellent, Jacob who's usually at the register always gives a warm welcome and is so attentive to make sure that your oder is right. I absolutely recommend everyone to come here, I'd give it 10 stars if I could.“

“We ordered saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, lamb korma, and garlic naan. Everything was delicious, particularly the lamb korma, which was fantastic. All of the meat was cooked perfectly, and I had never had paneer be toasted before, which was nice. Also, I ordered togo in-person, and they invited us to sit at a dining table while we waited - very kind. Will definitely return.“

“Very delicious shawarma! If you’re from a CIS country and miss that authentic taste, this is the place to go. We ordered Shawerma #6 — it comes with meat, vegetables, and fries inside the wrap. It was incredibly tasty!
The preparation time is usually around 10–20 minutes, but during busy hours you may have to wait longer, so ordering online is a good idea. The interior is beautiful and stylish, although there isn’t much seating space. The music was a bit too loud — I would have preferred it quieter. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!“

“Ayat is honestly the best Restaurant in whole nyc! The food isn't just beautifully presented it also tastes amazing. You can see and taste the food is made with love. Also the staff is just lovely, I wish we had this kind of service in Germany. It’s a must visit everytime I‘m in New York. I‘ve visited two locations so far, both of them great. Don‘t miss out on it!“

“I had a very good experience at Shashlik Uz N1 and am giving it 4 stars. The food was definitely the highlight, earning a full 5-star rating for its quality. The service was also strong at 4 stars, while the atmosphere was a bit more basic at 2 stars. Overall, it's a fantastic spot if you are prioritizing a great meal!“

“Soooo good, rice is flavorful and the chicken kebab is somehow juicy and tender when a lot of restaurants mess up and make the chicken kebabs really dry. The flavor is on point too! The sandwiches are really good too and love the seasoning on the fries. Kofta is also really good. I've been here many times and tried different things and have never been disappointed.“

“We had a thoroughly joyful family dinner at Shashlik House! We felt so lucky finding booth table seating right away because it was buzzing. The charcoal grilled lamb skewers and juicy beef kebabs were extraordinarily flavorful, while savory meat somsa, hot dumplings, fluffy rice plov, and fresh flatbread hit the spot completely. Big delicious authentic Uzbek coal grill comfort portions pleased everyone. Friendly, helpful staff made our whole experience so memorable!“
