“Had lunch here on a rainy day with my mother. Not my first time at the restaurant and my mothers first time having Mediterranean cuisine. I enjoyed it just as much as previously , the food and service does not disappoint. The chicken soup , haloumi salad, mezze plate and the grill plate made me feel happy. Meat was perfectly cooked , soft and just the perfect amount of sides. The portions are big and definitely worth the price. Highly recommend this restaurant. Oooh, and the pistachio pizza with the spicy honey - it deserves a separate review. Loved every minute of my lunch.“

Our iftar experience was exceptional, from the seamless reservation process to the outstanding dishes. The Qabuli Pilau was a standout, boasting impeccable flavor and texture. Tender lamb chops and perfectly seasoned Chapli kababs delighted our taste buds. The lamb shank was a highlight, with meat so tender it fell off the bone effortlessly. The hummus was simply divine, with a delightful hint of olive oil that enhanced its rich flavor profile.Dunya Kabab House sets itself apart with bold flavors and expert spice blends, distinguishing it from other Middle Eastern eateries.“

I went with the mixed grill entree. It was flavorful and tasted charcoal grilled, which I love. The ambiance is alright. It isn't a dimly lighted restaurant but doesn't need to be. I will stop by again and try more of their food.“

My boyfriend thought he didn't like baba ganoush until he tried it at this restaurant! “GERMAN DONER KEBAB - AN ENLIGHTENMENT If you're from Berlin, it feels like there's a kebab store on every other corner. So I can recognize and judge a kebab when I see it. Even just leaving Berlin and Brandenburg, the kebab experience changes within Germany. The further you get away from Berlin, the worse the kebabs get. Some time ago in New York, I discovered one or two places trying to make a kebab. Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a proper kebab in New York, despite the name kebab. What was being sold was called a kebab, but had very little to do with a kebab and tasted even less like a kebab. All the more enlightenment then... the recommendation of a friend living in Brooklyn. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. And then the first kebab there since 2018 here in New York. I can't even describe how happy I was. It looked like a kebab, it tasted like a kebab and came pretty close to a kebab from Berlin. Really well made. Incl. tax 12.51 dollars is a bit steep, but still good value for New York. The portion was good and filling. Everything is really fresh and well seasoned. The bread was just as it should be, thin and crispy. This was pretty much the best kebab I've had in a very, very long time (with the exception of one visit to Berlin). I will definitely go back there again. Bisher konnte ich leider in New York trotz Bezeichnung Döner keinen ordentlichen Döner entdecken. "German Doner Kebab" in Brooklyn. -------------------------------------------------“

Their mixed platter for the main course has been a hit with anyone who I have brought here. It can get pretty packed and I think they have reservation options. In the summer they have a rooftop- deff make reservations for that. Be sure to end your meal with any of their desserts and their tea They have multiple locations now so there are plenty of options to find one that's close you!“

“The food and service are pretty good but the prices are pretty steep considering the small portions offered here. It is a nice place to eat, however be advised that the menu prices are somewhat outdated so the final bill will most likely be significantly higher than the prices on the menu. There's also a service charge added to the final bill. Put it this way, whatever you'll spend at Outback to feed four people, you'll spend more or less the same amount to feed two people here. One advice I would give is to avoid the Jiz Biz. On the menu it's priced at $19.99 however I was charged $35 for it. The protein size was very small considering the price. It was pretty much full of fries and salad topped with red onions with a side of meat. A better alternative is to get the Mix Grill which is about $24.99 even though it's priced a bit less on the menu.Nevertheless the food was tasty and we definitely enjoyed it. They cook the food from scratch so there is a wait time here. We'd have to think twice before bringing our friends or relatives here especially if we are the ones paying for them.“
