“The best shawarma I’ve ever had — and I’ve tried a huge number of places. What makes this place special is that they make their own sauces for the shawarma, unlike many other spots that just use plain mayonnaise and ketchup. The real taste of authentic shawarma is in the sauce, and these guys do it at a very high level! Thank you very much!“

“Amazing service and amazing food. One of the best Afghan restaurants in NYC to be honest. The salmon kebab and Adana kebabs are really good. It’s a cozy restaurant and they do take out and larger orders too for pick up. It’s better if you pay cash versus on card for taxes.“

“I went to Brooklyn Kababa, a Yemeni restaurant, and I absolutely love their food. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the authenticity in every bite. The portions were generous, the meat was tender, and the spices were on point. The atmosphere felt welcoming and comforting, like real home-style Yemeni cooking. This is definitely one of my go-to spots when I’m craving something hearty and delicious. Highly recommend!“

“ordered the sandwich and it was so delicious. It was a bit too crispy for me but such a filling meal, so I didn’t mind the price as much since I really liked it and the meat was seasoned well. I would definitely get it again once my teeth gets better so I can fully enjoy that sandwich.“

“I had a very good experience at Shashlik Uz N1 and am giving it 4 stars. The food was definitely the highlight, earning a full 5-star rating for its quality. The service was also strong at 4 stars, while the atmosphere was a bit more basic at 2 stars. Overall, it's a fantastic spot if you are prioritizing a great meal!“

“I have ordered form here several times and everytime it’s been AMAZING. My go to is their chicken shawarma combo that comes with fries and coleslaw. Very filling and tastes so so good, always fresh and hot. I didn’t even know it was a women owned business!!! I haven’t visited the restaurant in person yet but will soon! “I visited Bombay Kakab yesterday and It was my first time trying indian food and it was honestly super good and flavorful. Every bite just felt like I was tasting something new. My friends and I got the chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani and the chicken was so flavorful! We also order the naan and we weren’t disappointed it was so good and buttery!! I can’t wait to revisit so I can try the other items on the menu. ❤️❤️“

“Juicy, delicious shashlik and lula kebab — the liver was especially surprising, so tender and succulent. Good service. The space is a bit dark; I would add more lighting to the interior. I would also add complimentary tap water, as is common in all restaurants. But none of that matters once you start eating — these guys definitely know how to cook meat.“
